Gorgeous B&B with a lot of music influences. Helen and Mike are friendly and welcoming hosts. Very beautiful gardens and wooded valleys from the patio. Had very engaging conversations over scrumptious breakfast with the hosts and the other guests. The best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying with them. Thank you for the lovely welcoming stay, Helen.

This place was reccomended my a friend. I was sceptical however my ignorance was soon dispelled.What a wonderful place for a wee break. If you are of the go places and do things ilk then I couldn't speak more highly.The village is beautiful, respectful of Soldiers and history (If one ignores the Vulgar land grab of over-priced money laundering opertunities which are abound in Scotland).The local town has a shopping center.If you are more adventuist there are flying lessons available nearby and if you have children there are many walks which you can see the east coast in it's glory.Once your day is finished then a few cocktailes on the deck with magnificent views is a great way to unwind. (If you've done jungle warfare you'll love it, especialy when the mist is in the Glen, check the plaque in the local pubs).Finaly, the Hosts' like to leave you alone and you'll never see them unless you want to. There is some astonishing art on these walls which I can't afford but I'm very glad I've seen.Have a great stay.

I am alway sceptical about places like this.After a month or two staying here I judge by a higher standard now.This is the most welcoming and forgiving place.I was there for work but was compelled to stay longer.I'm an Art lover and this had it in abundance. David (the CoHost with the wonderful Mark), has such a skill for photography and the walls are kissed with beautiful pictures.On the varanda one is given a cacophone of nature while the Gin is cold. The gardens make one stay and one could ignore the many things to see and do.This is for me the place I will return to for years to come.

A lovely room with a comfortable bed and excellent en suite. Our hosts were superb, gave interesting advice on the local area and places too eat. We were given a plentiful, tasty breakfast in the morning and we shared many laughs and tales.

Our 3rd stay in four years and we'll definitely be back in 2020! Helen & Mike are the perfect hosts, presenting excellent accommodation, food and conversation. As frequent visitors to Scotland we still have yet to find another B&B that meets this standard.

Wonderful guest house with superb hosts. As is Firbank Lodge next door where our room was located, run by another family member. We were served breakfast back at the guest house and we were treated like old friends and served a fabulous breakfast. The facilities and decor in both properties are 1st class.
