Avoid this place! Gently speaking breakfast it's not fresh. Rooms are dirty, cobwebs on walls, moisture in toilet. No English staff.

Not good rooms, all rooms its dirty all food from breakfast all old if you not eat today you gonna eat this tomorrow :))) I not recommend this hotel for family only if you travel and you need sleep one day , don't pay for breakfast :)))

We were there for a family celebration. The toilets were dirty, the floor was sticky, there was no toilet paper. Soap was only available in the women's toilet and you had to dry yourself with a small guest towel. The tablecloths were not clean, the table decorations were tasteless and there were dried potted plants on the windowsill.This location is absolutely not recommended!P.S. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures advertised as the owner changed a few years ago. It used to be very clean there and the food was delicious. The service was excellent.Nothing to compare with the current owner.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Hotel “Zum Torwächter” was anything but pleasant. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We found a lot of dust and dirt under the beds, which gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time.The worst thing, however, was the brown water that came out of the shower - completely unacceptable and hygienically questionable. There was a common room outside which was also in an appalling condition. The garbage there obviously hadn't been emptied for about two weeks, which caused an extremely unpleasant smell and made staying outside almost impossible.In addition, the service is substandard. Not once was anyone asked if everything was okay or if anything was needed. The rooms were not cleaned once in a week of stay. You had to beg for toilet paper or take care of getting it yourself.I would recommend that people who book breakfast come on time, otherwise you can justify why you don't stick to appointments. The lady of the house has so much to do and no time to wait for you, which of course I can completely understand when you have to entertain 5 people. The lady's “precious” time should be invested in cleaning the rooms and not in private activities.Maybe you should address the negative reviews and change something, but she doesn't seem to care at all about that. “Only people who are just passing through or assembly workers come anyway.”You have to put it so casually and say that the hotel is an absolute hole.Goodbye forever

We celebrated a birthday with a larger group and were very disappointed. The rooms were dirty, some of the fruit was moldy, the milk had been expired for a month, the cola was not carbonated, the glasses were greasy, the service wasn't unfriendly, but not exactly accommodating either.
