A lovely garden we happened to find. Planted on various levels. And a wide selection of home grown plants. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning gardens, we took my 2 and 5 year old and they loved the dragon trail! The wee play area was fab too and the family whose home it is we're just so delightful, would totally recommend every time.

From the moment you receive your warm welcome at this B&B you will know that you have landed on your feet. The building is wonderful, and the grounds even more so. The rooms are spacious, comfy and well furnished. …

Kirklands House is far more than a bed and breakfast with the drive up to it instantly making you feel like you are at a country or manor house. …

We have just returned from a weekend at Kirklands and one of the first things we did was to head on over to Tripadvisor to make sure everyone knows how good a place this is. …

This is now a private house but the gardens were open this weekend to enjoy the snowdrops and Hellebores. A beautiful woodland location and wonderful landscaped gardens. Best to park in the centre of the village.

This was one of the most beautiful places that we have ever seen. We are only sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Tucked away in a very small town, but well worth the trip.  …

A little over 40 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport, Kirklands is a real hidden gem. First impressions are of a grand Victorian home, sat in extensive and well-maintained grounds – and the interior doesn’t disappoint either! …

Extremely unfriendly and rude staff.||We walked through the Saline public way-marked path for the "Saline Woodland Walk". …
