We arrived late at night and were checked in with the minimum of fuss. We found the room to be clean. It was a bit worn in places but considering we got change from £40 for the night this is fine. …

The beds were really good, shower was decent but the views were awsome. Nice and spacious room, had a goodnights rest before we head on with our journey. Breakfast was lovely in the building next to it and the receptionists ladies were really kind, thanks for the stay!

A perfect stopover on an otherwise hectic schedule, peace and quiet and excellent value. Friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. I would stay there without a moments hesitation.

This place is a cross between prison and an old peoples home. No idea how this passes any health inspections as the room was filthy and moldy with bits of decoration hanging off every surface. …

Decent hotel for the price. Stayed on the way up to the Highlands and perfect for a night's rest. Rooms could do with a freshen up but perfectly serviceable with tea and coffee provided. A big positive is they are dog friendly (£15 extra) so the pooch could have a rest too!

Terrible experience, arrived at 10:40PM to be greeted with the most unpleasant woman on reception I’ve ever come across. She seemed to just want to have an argument with me on which details my company booked hotel under. After finally settling in the room, we were then woken up few hours later to the fire alarm at 4AM. Made way outside with my 9 year old daughter, she was freezing out there. We had no guidance or advice from staff on what was going to happen next. There was no head counts. Didn’t see any staff. I decided to take her into the main services to try warm her up. About 20 mins later fire brigade arrived and again still no update from staff. The amazing helpful lady at WHSmiths offered my daughter a warm drink and went and got any update to tell us that the hotel was back open.Days inn were lucky this turned out to be a false alarm, possibly someone smoking. The lack of fire safety protocol was dangerous.

Just what is said on the tin, a motorway hotel with an average sleep on a busy motorway, I needed a place to sleep and booked last minute got ther late in the evening with helpful friendly staff, not much else on site a burger before shower and bed for an early start on a long journey for work. Fair price fair sleep.

This was our first visit to a Days Inn and for an overnight stop over on the way home from our holiday in the Inner Hebrides this hotel was perfect and also great value. Lovely clean room, great shower, very comfy bed, quite amazing views for a motorway service station and cheery, helpful and friendly reception staff. Would definitely return
