Even though I arrived early, no problem. Staff polite and efficient. Room very clean, tidy and well prepared, mint chocs included!|Dinner was excellent, service good considering how busy it was. Opted for “pie of the day” which was excellent with the fresh veg. |Would stay there again.

Great! We had our little dog with us, and the most memorable part was the dog getting sausage for breakfast before we even could get to the buffet table! The dinner at the pub was great, I had the Pork and Apple pie which was lovely. …

A great pub in a quiet location, about 30 minutes from Goodwood, perfect for us! The rooms have been recently refurbished and had everything you could possibly need, including an iron and board, hairdryer, extra bedding and a fan! …

Stayed for overnight on cycle tour, we were a bit late but had a very friendly welcome, excellent meal, decent beer (a good real ale). Rooms were nice and separate from the pub. A really nice breakfast as well. They have a shed to store bikes as well.Highly recommended.

Booked for a table for a Sunday evening. Two of us ordered the trio roast, and our daughter, the turkey roast. After a short wait, a plateful of hot food came out and my, what a feed! Perfectly cooked beef, tender pork, and turkey topped with a large Yorkshire pudding. A side of veg and cauliflower cheese finished the meal, all washed down with two well-kept ales. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely book again while we are in the area.

I booked lunch on a Monday when there were not many customers. The food was excellent and so was the service. Parking was easy. We did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on the rooms, etc. It is our favorite venue for lunch.
