The hotel is very nice specially the kids room as it as like a submarine little one loved it! Only faults was when having a shower it leaked on the floor ( no way of stopping it i tried) and the taps constantly leaked maybe needs a new washer, other then that everything you need in a room!

We have stayed in this hotel twice and the rooms are good. We came prepared with an extension and 4 sockets to allow for charging of devices as we’d be short without it. Great views from the room and comfortable beds. My daughter loved her room with tv at end of bunk bed with good storage. However the bar in the wave has been closed every time we stayed so it would be better if they laid on some table tennis tables or something else. Real shame. Also reception not open in the afternoons so it is a bit different to a commercial hotel. Breakfast and dinner are served in the nearby Deck restaurant. We did have an issue with people in room below smoking drugs on patio. We complained and security who were excellent came over quickly within ten mins. However we had to retreat indoors again the next day due to the strong smell of weed blowing into room. No idea where it came from this time and I think that this has made us reconsider booking here again despite the excellent discount when booking on site.. Whilst I am sure the company have strong anti drug policies it is obvious a few bad actors appear to get away with it. Also despite no smoking signs around the site the regular staff do not challenge people ignoring the signs. Understandably Butlins cannot control the actions of all the guests but it is a shame that quite a few people spoil it for others.

The apartment rooms are spacious but starting to feel a bit dated now. The bar in the hotel was permanently shut as were the water features - outdoors and indoors. Our card keys stopped working and no one was on the reception desk, as it is not manned all the time. I called and was told I had to sort it myself but going to another office.Feels like this hotel is not getting the staff and love it deserves. Shame really.

It's been a few years since we have been to butlins bognor Regis. The wave hotel no longer has the bar open. The gaming area is now just arcade machines. The whole place looks tired and grubby. It's not the slick operation that you expect from butlins, especially at their prices.

We stayed at the Wave Hotel at Butlin's Bognor Regis resort and it offer us a family-friendly experience. The hotel features bright, ocean-themed rooms. The rooms seems compact but cleanliness and upkeep are generally good. The staffs are welcoming and helpful. The resort's entertainment and activities are good.My overall option is the resort and the Wave Hotel provides a lively and enjoyable stay for us with comparable entertainment options.👌🎉👍

Really nice hotel but room is not cleaned every day and their was no slip mat on the bath. The staff are so friendly here there was a really lovely gentleman at reception called Andy . I would come here again but I prefer the shoreline hotel because the dinning is in the hotel . With the wave the dinning plan we had chosen was outside the hotel.

Four of us have just returned from an enjoyable 4 night family break at The Wave Hotel located in Butlin's Bognor Regis. We got there early in order to get an easy parking spot in the secure car park and then entered the hotel and waited in the waiting area for check in time. There were around 6 staff available to carry out a smooth Check in of the long queue. We were allocated rooms 308 and 310 on the third floor and we had added Premium Dining at the Deck restaurant nearby. Two of us were in room 310 which was a double room with an under-water themed bunk room which also had small tv's at the bottom of the bunks. The TV in the double room was kind of small compared to sizes in other hotels we have stayed in. It is possible to link up one’s own devices including USB sticks and I-pods to the TV. There is air conditioning in the main area but in the bunk room there is no air conditioning and when I entered I felt quite warm and claustrophobic even with the door to it open. The room had a hair drier, ironing board and iron. Tea kettle and tea, coffee, milk and sugar are supplied but no bottles of drinking water. There is also a decent size fridge in the room. Quite a few of the floor boards in room are creaky … very creaky in some areas! The bins supplied in the room and bathroom are much too small to accommodate the rubbish if there are kids. The attached balcony accommodates a table and two chairs but there are gaps in the decking which allows for liquids and small items such as coins to fall through onto customers parked cars below. The peephole on the main doors to the rooms are badly located at a height of around 5ft 8 inches which is much too high for the average person to see through. I had to stand tiptoe to try and look through it.Moving on to the bathroom now which is on the left as we entered the room. It was clean and tidy. No container for toothbrushes and toothpaste etc. just a small round cake of soap near the washbasin which is located behind the open door so it is not easily accessible. The shower screen permits water to flow out from under the screen causing large puddles on the bathroom floor. A toilet brush is not supplied but there is a small plastic stool aid for the young or elderly. The tub was nice and clean and the shower pressure was good.Housekeeping is only provided three times a week on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday when the cleaners will make the beds, wash up, replenish tea/coffee and toilet roll, hoover and remove any rubbish. Clean towels are only provided if needed. Towels are changed on Wednesday or Sunday. However, on Wednesday the cleaner was near the door as we were leaving and asked us if we needed toilet rolls, tea or coffee and we said no but we needed a towel change. When we returned, we found that the bed had not been made. On Thursday as I was about to leave the room another cleaner knocked on the door. She asked a similar question so I decided the best answer to give was to tell her to check and do all that she was required to do. All had been properly done when I returned.Breakfasts and dinners at the large family friendly Deck Restaurant were good. We had plenty of choice and could eat as much as we could to keep us going till dinnertime which was from 4.30pm. Dinner choices were also great. On one day there was fish pie and although I am not a fish eater, I decided to take a very small portion. I was not impressed when I suddenly felt something sharp on my tongue. I slowly checked with my tongue and found a piece of fish bone which I had to remove. Now you know why I seldom eat fish!
