Fabulous bed and breakfast. Clean, spacious room with outside private, quiet garden access. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and amenities in both the bedroom, separate dining room area and bathroom. …

Stayed one night while walking the Offa’s Dyke Path. Dominic was great. Picked us up from the trail / A494. A short drive to his B&B. We had a large room. Big bed and comfy. Good amenities. For dinner, Dominic drove us to a nearby pub. His local wasn’t doing food so we went a bit further away. He then picked us up after dinner. A small fee but well worth it. We sleep do well, very quiet, great bed. Breakfast is continental which is fine. Cooked breakfast gets a bit much, day after day.Highly recommend!

I've stayed here 3 or 4 times now, all with work, but it's a good spot for a nice long Welsh Weekend away too. You're on the door step of Mold which has some good restaurants, pubs and everything you need. 'Just Steak' is a must! The surrounding area is beautiful with great walks, Snowdonia national park and excellent driving roads just on your doorstep.Dom, the host at Hafan Deg, is really welcoming and helpful, and he can't do enough for you.I love that this isn't the 'same old' hotel stay and having your own little apartment in quiet and tranquil spot is just perfect! Well recommended.

Dominic and Sandrine let us stay here with our two greyhounds at short notice. The room was large and clean but it didn’t feel like we shouldn’t be there with our dogs. It was very welcoming. …

What a gem. The 10/10 reviews are well deserved. Good communication ahead of the stay with directions to make finding it easy. Pristine, characterful accommodation, a warm welcome, crisp quality linen and a comfortable bed. Didn't come in good weather but that's when you really test the quality of the stay. Hot drink and piping hot bath with underfloor heating made me feel rested and toasty and maybe even a little smug at my choice of accommodation pretty quickly! As a travel writer I stay away for about 100 days a year, and I rank this highly as one of my personal favourites, my kinda place. Will definitely be back.

This place was an absolute paradise, a total unexpected little gem amidst beautiful gardens and forests. The breakfast was the best we have had in a very long time, our kids and puppy were gloriously happy, we would have stayed a week if we could! Thank you for allowing us to experience this beautiful corner of the world.

Have just returned home after a one night stay in this lovely B&B. It is spotlessly clean and lots of nice touches are provided - toiletries and fresh flowers in a vase! …

Lovely place to stay. Everything was clean, well presented and comfortable. We only had a one night stay while hunting for a new house but we would definitely stay longer should the opportunity arise.
