The manager was lovely and engaging. The room was disappointing and not very clean. Bedside lamp missing a bulb, mismatched sheets and no soap/shampoo. We originally booked elsewhere but for some reason were moved to this location at the last minute and at that point we had no choice.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a party of 9. Lady owner was lovely and welcoming to us all. Rooms were Clean, tidy and exactly what we needed. Great value for money. For that location and the standards of the rooms I'm surprised it was so cheap. Spot on and will definitely come back here again

Easy check in. Parked in side street no problem. Given key to room 4 on top floor again no problem. Told its a twin room. Had booked a large family room. Told lady there was 2 adults and a 15 year old. …

I’m really disappointed - I booked this this morning as we have tickets to something on 17th May. The owners have obviously realised they can hike the price and cancelled my booking with no warning and, even after I have asked 3 times, won’t tell me why. A shame to see this attitude from an ‘affordable’ guest house, in this cosy of living crisis. very disappointing indeed.

The rudest and frankly the most stupid staff accused me of lying within 30 seconds of being in the building. And were much happier of receiving my £40 cancellation fee than the full fee of £160. Clearly didn't want our faces in their hotel. Claim of having free parking when you're forced to park streets away in front of other people's houses!! A proper con job! Would not recommend it at all.

Staff were great, room was smaller than expected and the hotel looks very different than the pictures online. We were in the top room which meant climbing 3 floors and also meant the room became so hot we had to leave as soon as we woke up even though our radiators were off.

I had a booking for a single room made with the hotel however a friend decided to come so I cancelled the original booking and booked another room. …

We booked a family room and ended up with a twin room which had a tiny single bed and a bed which was not much more than a single bed but was meant to be a double. …

Friendly, clean bed and breakfast about a mile from Cardiff Castle. Good bus connections to the city centre. Although on a main road, the room was quiet. Breakfast isn't included and is £6 extra, but it is optional. Prices were higher than usual as there was a big rugby international the weekend we were there. On street parking.

Room was tiny for the price! Was on the top floor and the bathroom was very tiny! Shower sink and toilet squeezed into a cupboard. Bed was really comfy. Very small tv on the wall.
