Good old fashioned Inn tucked away off the beaten track. Great location for Cardiff and attractions in the Vale of Glamorgan. Comfortable room with enormous bed! Excellent food with a good choice and interesting "specials" on the menu. …

Gorgeous country style pub with open fires through cooler months. Fantastic bar variety,CAMRA real ale winners and beers change each week. We stayed here for one night to go to a concert in Cardiff and wow this place was absolutely fantastic! The service and food were incredible! We had dinner and breakfast here and the taste of the food was fantastic! The pub itself was really busy which was good to see and the room was great! Special shout out to Rob who was incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend

A delightful pub and restaurant in the middle of nowhere (to me a City Boy) , but in the shadow of the mountain from "The man who went up a mountain and came down a hill" including Tara Fitzgerald and Hugh Grant. The pub has an impressive array of beers, ciders, lagers, wine and spirits.I didn't drink alcohol but all my friends were impressed with their Beers and wine, we didn't have food on this occasion but the other clientele waxed lyrically about it, so I hope to return to try it out.The inside and outside looked beautiful and we're comfortable. Also it is wonderfully dog friendly and practically accessible to disabled folk like myself

The Gwaelod Inn, we were very lucky to attend our best friends Wedding nuptials here. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The service was fantastic and the food was to die for.We stayed in a king double room with en-suite. It was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable and had plenty of water and fresh milk in fridge provided. Decor Original and a little quirky ( loved the room key !) The Gwealod Inn definitely on brand with slate tea & coffee board. We loved it and would highly recommend the food venue and service.Thank you to Sam, Rob and staff for making our stay so special ❤️

Staid in the B&B for 2 nights in July and spent both evenings in the pub. Food is amazing. Great selection of drinks. Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. It's really difficult to find a fault. Yes, there are cheaper places, but this inn is worth the premium.
