Check in and check out was very easy and convenient. Hotel is in a very good location not to far from train station, with easy access to Swansea city centre there’s a Tesco outlet right by there for shop essentials. The shower was clean and tidy

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It’s not completely without hope - the location is good - but it is so poorly maintained and frankly filthy that it’s unbearable to spend more than even a few hours in it. Unfortunately, we booked too late so this was our only affordable option, but even then we paid £120 for a double room for ONE night. I understand it was high demand as we came for a gig in Swansea, but I can’t imagine anyone paying to stay in this place. The sheets were both stained and dirty - we found hairs and dead insects on top of the bedding. The floors and rugs were not cleaned - there was a plastic bottle under the bed and dust and dirt all over the floor. The bathrooms - one with a sink and toilet and another with a sink, toilet, and shower - are shared among the five rooms in the flat, which led to obvious issues. If there’s such high usage, the bathrooms should be cleaned more frequently, and better stocked - by midnight they had run out of toilet paper. The blinds in our room were completely gone, and our room stank to high heaven because it had not been properly aired out. It seems that they come in to change the sheets and that’s about it, I can’t confidently say anything else was cleaned. I have serious concerns about the level of hygiene in the flats. Funnily enough the kitchen was the cleanest room, probably because nobody used it.I cannot understand why this place is in business, the people who run it simply do not seem to care. Everything is poorly maintained, and while I have sympathy for the difficulties of running a small business, this place felt like a scam. These people do not care and clearly only provide bare minimum, if that, so do not let them take your money.

Had a little trouble getting in at first but that was down to missing an email and using the wrong pin number, it was sorted after a phone call, so do check for recent messages when checking in. The place was spotless, nice shared kitchen was thankful to find coffee in the morning. The only suggestion I would make is putting a chair or two in the room, or some hooks on the wall to hang clothes, otherwise a comfortable overnight safe place. Thanks.

The fire alarms were not serviced appropriately and on multiple occasions, the fire alarms were going off around 2 a.m. for hours at a time. The maintenance of the building is despicable, alongside the cleaning services which to be quite frank are appalling. The toilet was not actually cleaned any single time the cleaners supposedly performed cleaning duties in the block of rooms that I was staying in. Many items included in the hotel price are just not available on a regular basis, in particular toilet paper, cleaning products to clean up in the shared kitchen, and coffee and tea items.I was also shocked by the way in which my belongings, left in my room were treated by the cleaning crew. On one occasion my toiletries were on the floor amongst a load of dust balls and grime, when they had been left conevniently, by myself, on the side beneath the window. I don't believe that there was any excuse to leave my toiletries on the floor, it would have been fairly easy to at least pick the bottles up and place them somewhere clean.

We stayed in flat 10 - Room 5. Bedding was clean. However walls were much need of a paint and floor was dirty and needed a hoover. The toilet needs a makeover and due to shared accommodation, it smelt very unpleasant. Fire alarm went off at 6am and no one came or contacted us about what to do and the alarm carried on for HOURS! We didn't have to check out until 11am yet we had to leave immediately due to poor service of no one coming to turn the alarm off. When emailing about this issue we received a rude reply stating they would not compensate the fact we didn't have our full stay and offered no help. Would not recommend, felt very unsafe

As far as i am concerned this is a halfway house. Corridors and kitchen full of families , screaming and crying children. We turned up, sheets look clean but rugs disgusting. Walked in, walked out. There are mail boxes downstairs. This is not for public use.||

Sharing a building with crack heads. Kitchen infested with insects. Table, cutlery etc filthy. Bedding has hairs and stains. Floor sticky. Shower blocked. Appalling that this is allowed to be classified as accommodation. Made 5 people so depressed they couldn't enjoy their time in the city.

Unfortunately, most people who are booking a stay here won't see the bad reviews until it's too late - I know that was the case with me. Please be aware when booking through Airbnb that any extra payments are non-refundable, as the host won't tell you that. I booked early check in, then when I no longer needed it, I was told that it was non-refundable as "a cleaner has already been booked."Apparently, they booked a 'non-refundable' cleaner, well over a month in advance, when the guest still has a 3+ week space to cancel and get a full refund. If you were going to do that, surely you'd let the guest know that it's non-refundable. Essentially, I don't believe this story, it was clearly just an excuse to pocket the early check-in fee, as they knew Airbnb couldn't force them to give it back. Really poor form and bad business in my opinion.I then looked at reviews for this place online, saw that they were mostly negative and the state of the apartment wouldn't be good, so cancelled altogether. Thankfully, I got my money back in Airbnb vouchers, but it seems this host will be able to go on taking people's money in the same shady fashion. Please avoid staying here if you can, I had a lucky escape.
