We stayed there six years ago. Two of our party had to leave and be taken into hospital. Would they do a refund for the rest of the week? No, there rented the room to a German couple and so got double pay for the room. We stayed for the whole week and our towels and sheets were not changed once. The room door was smashed in and had been glued together very badly. The room was big but everything was so worn and needed changing. The curtains had holes in them. Just seen the breakfast they advertise. That’s the only improvement I can see. I say stay clear of this disgusting place.

If you like staying on a construction site this is your perfect place , paid for a sea view £27 extra but all I had was scaffolding. …

The hotel is being updated and work is ongoing but the reviews we read are unfair. There is new carpet throughout and our room was spacious and the bed large and spotlessly clean. Good value if you don't mind the ongoing improvents. staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

I feel the hotel could have been more forthcoming about ongoing renovations but we hadn’t no scaffolding outside our window so a stunning view over the harbour. ||Location is excellent and the breakfast was really good. Yes it’s a bit dated in places but did the job perfectly well for our four night stay

Not a great visit I'm afraid, doesn't look anything like the website pics. Staff, what I saw of them, not really inviting or particularly helpful. Glad I only had to use the room to sleep, when the water tank in the loft above the room let me. Although the hotel has a perfect view of the beach, Tenby and surrounding areas, I'm sorry I wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel is going through a major renovation presently but they are doing the best they can to look after customers. The workmen were very p but my room was comfortable, which provided a good place to relax in . A good hot bath, a TV that worked, wi-fi , tea and coffee. What more do you want

Absolutely shocked how this is not shut down! My room was damp and had a horrible musty smell. There is damp damage and broken windows everywhere around the hotel. My room was on the 4th floor without a functioning lift which can be a real problem for some. The breakfast was another low... not only was the women unfriendly, the food looked so bad that I left and paid for breakfast in town. Just don't stay here - maybe if you pay £20 but I massively overpaid (£100!!!)

Hotel filthy. Cups in room stained. Cutlery in dining room stained. On 4th floor with no lift. Staff not very friendly good location, but hotel was dire. Could only use shower by standing in bath and holding the shower head it didn’t fit the holder. Whole hotel smelt damp. Should have been closed whilst building work going on.

My friends stayed there last week it’s their fifth visit, they stay for a three night break. Obviously if it wasn’t good they wouldn’t go back. They have a lovely time , the staff are very helpful, the views wonderful.
