Bookef a room for 2 nights, last minute. Good value, dog friendly. On main Esplanade, 5 mins from town and south beach. No lift, bit of a hike to the 2nd floor up the stairs. Clean room, nice bed and pillows. TV, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle. Fully kitted out, good base for town and beach. Sun shone, lovely few days.

Basement self catered apartment (more like a bedsit) with modern kitchen, wet room bathroom. Very very basic and overpriced but fine to just sleep in.

We had a clean, quiet main floor room at these self/catering apartments. Looked on the sea and room was very nice size for two of us. King bed, galley kitchen and bathroom with small shower. …

Booked as an apartment for 3 Adults 2 bedrooms , found out it was a small studio room with a very uncomfortable pull out sofa bed. We had to search for bedding for the sofabed.Double bed is also a bit saggy. Bathroom very basic, no extractor fan, no hooks. Kitchen is well equipped, it is expected you to take out your rubbish in the blackbin but no instructions where to nor wheelybins nearby. Second floor flat, sea view, road very noisy on Saturday night till 1 a.m. Well overpriced £200 for a night, even with a " special mobile price of £188 "

Great budget accommodation for small families. They are self catering lets owned by the Clarence Hotel. It’s 2 Star and you get what you would expect. Ideal location and lovely staff at the hotel. You are also able to use the hotel terrace and bar.

Was told I had to move after the first night, incredibly frustrating self-catering as you have to clear all the food etc./pack up everything again and throw away food that won't keep, only to then be told that I didn't have to move. …
