Lovely cottage at the end of small town. Sheep in front of it, stream running not far from it. Loved the space inside, even hallway was good size. Back garden needs some freshening up and weeds removed, hot tub didn't work, but we weren't too worried. It was 4 adults staying and we had 5 beds and 3 bedrooms. Also loved 2 toilets and shower and bath available too. Main issue was that we didn't have a frying pan or baking tray, also no bin inside. But once we mentioned it, landlady sorted it out next day. Some towels need updating as very frail. Nice touch to leave us flowers and snacks, even milk, yoghurt and other bit left for us.

It was clean and warm and we took our dog , we had the room with door onto the garden , there is a big communal kitchen with a breakfast laid out of fruit ,yogurt ,toast and cerial.

I stayed here with my family and couldn’t have had a better stay .We booked the family suite and 3 of the other rooms which were all fantastic.Each room has it’s own bathroom ,fridge and tea /coffee making facilities and super comfortable beds.We enjoyed the garden /court yard area to relax .The owners couldn’t be more helpful and friendly answering any questions and giving us recommendations about the local area .Absolutely fabulous location . Close to a lovely little town ,great pub a 2 minute walk away and amazing walks all around.

Visited out of season so property a bit run down and not how it appeared on photos.Quiet peaceful location. Close to Town and the National Park.Room OK.Small double bed so slept on sofa as partner is 6ft 6 and both couldn't fit in bed. Tiny TV but not issue as views were nicer.Very dog friendly.Issue with boiler meant no hot water or heating during stay. Owner provided a heater on afternoon on second day and disputed we had been without heating or hot water on first night. Our own fault for not raising issue sooner. Stay cut short and partial refund given.Can imagine it is a lovely base usually but we were unlucky this time.Won't return

Great place to stay, good value and highly recommended. We had three rooms and all were very clean and comfortable. In addition there is an excellent kitchen and dining room available for guests. Once booked, the communication with the host was excellent and welcoming.

Melin Tregib is a beautiful BnB over looking the river on Llandeilo. It's clean, warm, welcoming and well equipped for every occasion. We stayed here as a group - the rooms are a great size, with lots of space to relax and spread out and the beds are so comfy. The continental breakfast selection was great but I loved being able to cook our own fry up on the range cooker. I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back x

Had an amazing stay here for 2 nights with some friends. Really enjoyed the location which is so close to some lovely walks. The house itself has lovely features and felt very cosy. I slept so well in my bed and enjoyed the tea and coffee in the room.
