Lovely small house. Perfect for two, with everything we needed. A real break from hotels.
Located centrally in Braintree with access to shops and take aways.
Stayed for 3 nights. Enjoyed it so far. 👌

Great little cottage to stay. Clean, spacious and full of everything you need for a break. Ursala was a lovely host who was on hand throughout our visit. I would definitely recommend

If you are looking for a place to stay in Braintree then you do not have to bother looking anywhere else. Panfield house is the place you want to be. Don't bother looking for a hotel. This place has it all. Great location, Parking, a beautiful house and the most wonderful hosts. My wife and I came from the US and spent 3 wonderful days here. I'm telling you, this place is amazing. Incredibly clean, super comfy bed and all the amenities. WiFi, USB charging ports throughout the house. Barry and Ursula are just amazing. They stocked the fridge with fresh eggs and milk. Just incredible. We will not stay anywhere else now when my wife comes to visit her family.

My wife and I stayed for 12 nights as we were visiting my mum who is in a care home in Braintree. Ursula and Barry were kind and attentive and could not have been better hosts. The location was very convenient for us, the facilities were excellent, including the Wi-Fi which was very good, much to the delight of my wife who could keep up with events back home. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and hope to stay again next year.

My Wife and I stayed at the Panfield House in early to mid May 2016. As we were from Florida in the USA, we really needed a place that would accommodate our lifestyle like we were at home. Ursula and Barry had the perfect place with the Panfield House. Not only was the cottage roomy, but the attention to detail given on a daily basis was outstanding. Thank you for allowing us to experience a Wonderful time. Oh and Thank you for the loaves of bread that you graciously gave us. If you are ever in England, Braintree and especially the Panfield House is a must for a visit and stay.Thanks so much once again,Russ and Marie Hatcher

My family and I found this amazing accommodations by chance and oh my goodness it was above and beyond our expectations, what you see is truly what you will find when you arrive at the Panfiled House, unlike other places you see on the internet, the photos depict it to the tee and then some. Ursula and Barry are the perfect Host and Hostess, they give you ANYTHING you need, they are extremely accommodating. We arrived to have a fridge with the necessities to get us going, bread, coffee I could go on and on, we looked forward to coming "Home" after day trips away. Can not thank you both enough for making our vacation a Home away from Home xoxxo

My maiden trip abroad and could not have been a better experience. Kudos Mr Barry and my lady Ursula. It was an amazing stay out of chaos of the city life. Wonderful service and worth a place to spent some time for an experience of life time. Did not realize how four months passes away..:).....Amazing experience...

We were privileged enough to experience the most excellent and hospitable B&B, while visiting family in Braintree. From the sincere hospitality, outstanding accommodation, home from home comforts, to advice with local transport. Wow, Ursula and Barry are truly fantastic! Nothing was ever too much trouble and the warmth and care shown to us during and before our arrival.
