We went here for our brothers wedding, the barn is perfect venue, beautifully set out.. spacious, big bar, good sized dance floor too! they catered for 150 of us very well.. the bar staff were awesome, very quick service- and the hostess\mangager was so lovely and attentive, very helpful while we preped the barn before hand.. and went above and beyon with the guest.. Thank you for an amazing evening!

We stayed here for a family wedding in September. The venue is incredibly beautiful inside, while outside it is very basic but has the necessary.My two recommendation for the owners would be to invest in the outdoor garden space: chairs/outdoor furniture, as it was tiring standing and only having old picnic tables that I didn't want to sit on with my satin dress and to invest in some decent mattresses as I have never slept on such an uncomfortable mattress in my life!The other downside (but could be an upside if your plane-obsessed) is that it's so close to Stansted that you have the contstant noise of planes throughout the day.

Myself and my new husband chose burylodge as our wedding venue and I can honestly say we had the best day! Teresa and her daughter were absolutely amazing from the moment we booked till the big day arrived, Teresa was never out of reach if I had a concern day or night, highly recommend

My only gripe is the £10 minimum card payment requirement, which seems a bit excessive, especially when already spending £1000 on renting a venue. It would be more convenient if there were no minimum, considering the significant event expenses.The average monthly fee for a payment terminal in the UK can range from £20 to £50, depending on the service provider. Transaction fees typically fall within the range of 1-3% of the transaction value but may vary based on the card type (credit or debit) and other factors.So is not that expensive.... 😡

Hockey club dinner. Great function rooms with a good atmosphere.The main course was a bit disappointing, the food was a little dry, sitting on the pass for too long. The other 2 courses were good.Entertainment and bar service were great. Ample parking and easy to locate.
