I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Mayfair by Capital during our first visit to London on July 11th. After arriving at the address provided in our confirmation email, we were left confused as there were no instructions on how to enter. Upon calling Mayfair by Capital, I was informed that they had no booking under my name despite providing the confirmation code from their email. They admitted that our booking request was in their queue but was never accepted on their end. Yet, we still received a confirmation email and code.Shockingly, they were unapologetic and informed us that the unit had since been rented out, leaving us without a place to stay. As we had traveled from another country and this was our first time in London, this was incredibly distressing. They offered no immediate solutions except for another property 30 minutes away, but it was only available for one night. When we asked if they would provide a discount due to their error and the inconvenience of having to move the next day, they flatly refused. They argued that since we were never charged for the original booking, they couldn't offer any compensation. This logic makes no sense. Of course, we shouldn't be charged for a place we couldn't stay at, but the fact remained that we were stranded in a foreign city with nowhere to go, standing on the street with all our luggage.The next several hours were incredibly stressful and not the way you want to start a trip. We eventually found alternative accommodations, but it was much more expensive due to the late booking. This experience with Mayfair by Capital was completely unacceptable. I strongly advise against booking with them.

Booked for October 24 a few months ago, and advised today that the reservation has been cancelled. Was worried with the poor reviews, but have had a luck escape!My advice would be to stay away from the company, as they have various lets and they often cancel on you last minute.

When one hears the name Mayfair, London, it evokes a sense of elation, luxury, and comfort. However, this place in Mayfair is an old apartment with a fresh coat of paint and a squeaking floor. It is okay for a few days' stay and is close to Oxford Circus and that is where it ends. The daily Airbnb fee is very high.

Big room. Close to shopping area. No elevator, so be prepare if you bring big luggage. Check out time at 10am, would be better if 11am.

The flight we were on was delayed and the taxi caught a lot of traffic so we couldn't arrive until 10:15 p.m. We called the establishment, Booking Spain and the UK about 30 times, I wrote emails and no one answered. He only allowed messages on answering machine. My 2 children, my husband and I had to spend the night in the subway station until they kicked us out. Let's see how we're going to spend tonight. We still have PAID for 7 days in London. What are we going to do? There are not even free rooms!

Great location very noisy at nite but we did know this before hand as other reviews commented on it. The beds and bed linen were comfortable and clean. The living room was not really child friendly wires all over the floor and the bedroom lamps had European plugs on them! The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend stay and it was clean although did find an old loaf of bread in a cupboard. There is no lift so bit of struggle with bags not suitable for any one who can't climb stairs. The entrance and stairs are dirty mail everywhere. We did have a great weekend purely because of the location plenty of tubes, shops, bars and places to eat.
