Duped!Beware. This is ultimately a time share company. I was caught off-guard waiting for my delayed flight at Malaga airport. I was asked to complete a slip to win a free holiday. I thought there was no harm in that. There isn’t much information available and they prey on the fact your mind is elsewhere. A few months later I was contacted out of the blue by a northern lass to be told I had won a free holiday and ‘how cool was that’! There is no time to think, they bombard you with information on a fairly unclear line and with a strong accent, send you an email while you are on the phone so you don’t have time to read it, and then entice you to pay a holding deposit which you apparently will get back after you turn up at their travel centre to choose your holiday. They also enforce that they are a reputable company by saying they wouldn’t be allowed in the airport terminals otherwise. I beg to disagree. They obviously have a deal with Malaga which is the location of their flagship resort. We couldn’t even get a local appointment at their travel centre. They wanted us to go to the Cotswolds with another enticement of an overnight stay. You are pressured into booking the appointment there and then as they say it’s the last chance as the offer is closing. It’s not clear whether you would get your deposit back or have to foot the bill for the overnight stay if you decide not to sign up for the holiday upon your arrival at the travel centre. I suspect there will be some penalty. I believe you have to commit there and then to a resort and date for the holiday. So, after the call finally ended, I did some research and was upset to find it was a timeshare company. I thought they were a thing of the past. The overall feedback was not good. I was very annoyed and frustrated with myself for being taken in, but they are very clever. My research revealed that you get free accommodation at one of their resorts, dependent upon availability, so you probably can’t go when you would like to, as seems to be the case with all timeshares, and whilst there you are given the hard sell. You even have to pay for your own flights. They don’t mention any of this during the call. I asked if it was a scam and they said no, they just like people to experience their resorts so that they spread the good word. Apparently there are further administration costs too. After my discovery, I emailed the lady who I had spoken to, and explained that I had done some investigation and wasn’t interested in pursuing the ‘free’ holiday and would like my deposit back.Several emails later, and a range of deflection tactics, I have still not received it. I am now pursuing this with my bank who are investigating, and I feel strongly enough to write this review. Something I don’t normally do. I struggled to find their T&Cs although they say they are in the email they send you. I had to ask for them. They, themselves are vague and don’t answer all your questions. It is a dishonourable job that the sales people do. Why not just be up front and honest, and at least then you know what you are getting into from the start and some probably would still go for it. All this does is give them bad press for their underhand methods.UpdateAfter notifying the sales rep that my bank had put a stop on any future payments, and that they are investigating the matter, I received my refunded deposit on 6 August. Almost as two months after my first request. Thank you for doing the right thing CLC.

I took the membership in December 2019. When I took membership, they offered me lot's of destination to travel, so I took the membership for 3 years. After the lockdown, I tried to book holiday destinations, but all their resorts were fully booked everywhere so I can't book anywhere. Also they have offered 1 destination free in Spain & charged me £50. But that company went to administration, also they have another company interval which is part of my membership to visit holiday accommodation around the world but that company also went to administration so technically you can't book any holidays which you paid for. Please don't take their membership. It's west of your money.

I bought the trial holidays back in November 2019 to date I have not had any holidays due to COVID. I had a nightmare as I broke up with my partner and tried everything to cancel this or even change the name as the contract was in both our names but the loan in mine, they said it wasn’t there problem and after months of trying I actually booked my prelude week to then get cancelled due to COVID. I have asked if my membership will get extended due to not being able to book anything the answer was no as they have opened uk hotels. Not what I signed up for. I have found membership services extremely rude and unhelpful I even wrote to the CEO who couldn’t be bothered to reply. All in all I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am still left with this 5/6 weeks holidays to book and tbh would rather not I would rather have a full refund. Believe me I tried everything but they just didn’t care, I was made redundant during this again they didn’t care and said there was nothing they could do and not there problem. Before I paid in full I was even happy to lose all monies paid, again not interested. They must be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Don’t go near them stay far far away

We have taken membership in January 2020. Worst decision we ever made. The company don't care about customers. No help offered for cancelled holiday because of pandemic. Very unhelpful staff. Other generic online holiday deals are much better than what CLC offer in their own resorts. No additional privilege you get for paying membership fee.

High pressure sales outfit looking for recurring investment into micro fractions of holiday parks. The coffee and £25 Sainsbury’s voucher were good but not really worth the Sunday morning preaching into why i should invest £50k over the next 30 years and dedicate my entire holiday budget and annual leave into their company.Make sure you do your maths before you sign up because they won’t tell you about the long term outlay you are actually agreeing to. You will never own the holiday properties

Yes they are trying to sign you up for a package, of course since they are not a charity. However you do get a £50 voucher for your time regardless and you can in fact get a free one week holiday for your time.We had Lorenzo and he was absolutely brilliant: warm, friendly and an excellent salesperson because we never felt like we were being "sold" anything. He completely got who we were straight away and the kinds of holidays we wanted to do. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety available, and the fact that they don't just offer resort holidays. My partner and I were very skeptical and went in expecting just to do our 90minutes and run with our vouchers and free holiday. But we ended up there for 2.5 hours with a completely different perspective about what was on offer and intending to send all of our friends there, plus we actually enjoyed the experience rather than it being a chore. The only negative was the annoying second sales person who was a bit rude and bolshy did not understand the kind of holidays we were interested in at all. Luckily he only popped in and out.Overall there is no pressure or hard selling and once we said we were not interested they said thank you and goodbye with no pushing for us to change our minds and no awkwardness.I would never have considered this kind of package before but we are seriously considering it now for the future. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to my friends and family, nothing to lose and potentially a really good deal to be had for the right people.UPDATE:We went on the free holiday in November 2019. Caveat that we have a baby so we're free to go outside of school hols which I understand is a problem for some people. We managed to get flights for only £100 each flying in to Malaga. We stayed at Club La Costa. We were in a lovely, very clean and spacious apartment. The resort is large with several different areas and pool areas. We have never been on a resort holiday before and to be honest it's not for us but if you like resort holidays I'd imagine that this is a very nice one. Staff were friendly, there are restaurants and kids clubs on site and it's well laid out.It really isn't a scam but they do give you a harder sell here and you are required to sit for another very long spiel here while they tell you again all about the resorts and give you a full tour. All adults are required to attend the entire presentation, and with a small child this was quite difficult because although they have a creche area, it was still a long time for them. We were quite upfront about it not being for us but it still took a long time. The more upmarket areas of the resort are very lovely but again its just not our kind of holiday so we said no thank you.Overall it was a positive experience for us. We had a great holiday and the accommodation was very nice and completely free as described. While you're there you must attend another presentation which is supposed to be a few hours. I'd say if you are the kind of person who finds it hard to say no then don't do it because they will do their best to convince you to buy into the holiday scheme and they're very good at what they do. If you like resort holidays then this is a great deal, maybe you'll even find a great deal in signing up.I would recommend that you write off the entire day for the presentation as it takes longer than the 3 hours they say. If you're not happy to do that then don't go on the holiday. Even with that it's still 7 night free accommodation and 6 days you have to yourself to do as you please. They are very strict on the rules in terms of attending the presentations and turning up when you say you will. I don't think that's unreasonable as you can't have something for nothing. We didn't sign up to the holiday plan but we had a great trip and it was really interesting to go on the kind of holiday we wouldn't normally take. We had a great trip overall and while I wouldn't do it for a second time, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again just that once.

Dangerously bad. It’s free accommodation but there are plenty of catch . After forced sales. I realised something that is not right. Read the policy word by word and many things they do over the phone and orally is not written in writing . They don’t give it in writing all the catch . Easy way of getting tricked. Be careful and don’t waste your time anymore. You can’t prove in court if you don’t have evidence. I think people should read google review before even attend their meeting. Remember simply attending the meeting will cost you £90 if you miss it. Even they don’t give this in writing and their is no online payment systems . Looks dodgy.

The most patronising rude experience of my life, being reminded every 20 minutes that us Essex people are all alike by the manager who I ended having to speak harshly to telling him I was offended with his comments. And when you read about people that have invested in this place, you realise how lucky you were escaping without agreed anything. Don't touch with a barge-pole.
