The room had everything you need, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. A generous sized bathroom with a great hot water system. Breakfast was great and our hosts Robin and Marion were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. On site parking.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights.We found the owners quite unfriendly, they didn't chat to us at all. Especially our 2nd morning.Breakfast was OK the 1st morning but the 2nd morning the coffee was far too diluted so was the orange juice.Our mushrooms weren't cooked at all.Water or teabags weren't replenished.Guests in the room next door we very loud.They had their TV and radio on really loud, no consideration for others.Also the shower head didn't fit in the shower slide bar and clamp bracket properly.It fell out during our showers.We wouldn't really recommend this B& B.Especially considering the price.

We have stayed here several times on our journeys north and south. Easy to get to and from the motorway, Very welcoming hosts, comfy beds and delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be going again!

A very comfortable, homely b&b with 2 groundfloor rooms with walk in showers and comfy beds in a quiet village just outside Penrith. Marion & Robin are very welcoming hosts and Robin cooks a great breakfast. They cater for dietary requirements including gluten free.

We had a lovely stay at meadow view ... We turned up later than expected,the lovely couple that run it were so welcoming despite this ... The room was very comfortable and clean! Breakfast was lovely and made personally for us we were asked the evening before what we would like which was an added extra that made us feel very looked after .. I would like to add that they even went out of their way to dry our wet clothes for us ... Perfect hosts thanks so much and hope to see you again some day... Many thanks

I stayed here while on a walking holiday in the North Lakes, I ate in the Queens Head practically next door. The room was just right, quiet, clean and looking onto a small garden. Beds were comfy, and en suite facilities worked well. What more can I say, enjoyed my visit and would stay here again.
