Stayed at the Guesthouse for a weekend, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast and service were really good, the staff were also very welcoming and friendly. The location is great a few minutes walk to the lake or head up the side road parallel to the guest house, that will take you towards the start of Helvellyn, or Glennriding Dodd walking routes.

We stopped in for a breakfast this weekend and it was delicious. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful. The large full breakfast was outstanding. The only thing I could have asked for was for the toast to be brought out with the breakfast or after it so it was hot and could be eaten with it.Great coffee and tea as well.Thank you
