Definitely paid 40 euros too much. No hot water in the evening, noisy rooms, squeaky floors. Could just hear the neighbors conversation.Impression that the owner also lives there with family and does not take his guests into account at all.Bed: sloping so that your head is lower than your feet. Wobbling, and collapses. Beeps. Slept badly.Not recommended. Rather, continue to a Travelodge a little further, a 15-minute drive.

Really lovely staff, managed to get me a room 15 minutes before they close and met me with such kindness. Good rooms , beautiful stair case and dining area with everything you need amenities and tea coffee shower etc. really recommend š

The hotel is dirty. The two rooms we had, had bits all over the floor, nothing dusted or hoovered, undistinguishable marks on the walls, mold everywhere (walls and showers) stained and unwashed cups in rooms.Ā ā¦

Rooms are dated and need a good overhaul. Stayed in the cottage next to the main hotel. Bit of a dump and the bedroom wasn't that great. The bathroom was severely in need of some attention with flies and cobwebs visible when I went in. Probably give it a miss based on my findings to be honest. Not sure what the main hotel rooms are like, but the cottage is a no go.

Pros and cons Bedroom was really clean but couldn't sleep as couldn't get comfy resting my head on the pillows. Breakfast came out with 2 vegetarian sausages 1 tomatoe, 2 mushrooms, one hasbrown, baked beans and 1 fried egg when it could come out with 2 of everything. It took for ever to get checked into our room and slow service at the bar and not much drink choices.

We stayed for 5 nights , was quiet , bed was very comfortable, manager was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast enough for what you pay . Felt homely would definitely stay again

Okay so the hotel is a bit tired, rooms are dated and a bit worn out but they're clean and fit for purpose, there's plenty of free parking. Had a couple of pints at the bar which was very reasonably priced. Found the staff to be very friendly and pleasant, breakfast was served very efficiently and it was really good. For the price per night I can't really fault it....

When arrived at hotel; reception was in darkness and it took at least 10 minutes for someone - older man - to come along, put the lights on and provide room key.||Entrance floor was dirty. Stair carpets were thread bare on the edges.Ā ā¦

Really expensive for what it is. Possibly the worst overnight stop I've ever had. Some kind of rave in the carpark with guests under the influence of everything. Police attended. Divan broken so bed wonky. Breakfast included but the worst of all greasy spoon offerings. Service is a 2 rather than 1 as front of house apologised for disturbance and the fact that they were 'out' of oat milk having given the impression they catered for df/gf. Will be sticking to the big chain hotels from now on!

I'm having a really hard time reviewing this place. There are so many pros and cons, so I'll just list a handful.Cons- 1) double bed is small and really uncomfortable. 2) room is incredibly old and dated. 3) the door doesn't lock from the inside (might be specific to our room and I will be informing front desk.Pros- 1) friendly staff and super cheap bar prices. 2) good location. 3) -and possibly most important to me, our double room has 11 plug sockets. ELEVEN. Premier Inn you have to leave your phone across the room to charge... I have two double sockets each side of the bed! So I suppose it depends on what's important to you!

Smelly, dirty, disgusting, filthy, unclean, do not stay here. I found a rat, retching at my bedroom door, another one was checking out as his complaints had also been ignored.... Staff are aware but do not care. Don't even try to get your money back...Hotel is on a main road with very few local amenities.Kim and Aggy couldn't help these people...

Don't stay here unless you really have to! The "hotel" is cheap for a reason. It's bad! I got a room in a small house next to the hotel, which is probably even worse than the rest of the rooms. Room old and smelly. People next door cooking food. Internet hardly worked. The shower had only hot water so I almost burned my skin. Sheets ok. Breakfast ok. Better pay extra pounds to get a decent room in some other hotel.

Great stopover when travelling to the Highlands. Friendly staff lovely spacious and clean rooms. Very dog friendly š, he even had his own breakfast. Would use again when travelling to Scotland as only 10 mins off the M6.

This is a perfectly good hotel for the price. It was cheap so didn't expect much. Book directly with the hotel for the best price. Good breakfast served quickly. Warm room, clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Lots of parking and in a good area not far from the M6.

Friendly staff lovely breakfast. A little dated like others have put but it was a nice stay before we went to Gretna and got married. Had a lovely meal at Harraby and friendly staff
