This was a great little find on our holiday. James, the landlord was very accommodating especially as we didn't book in advance. He had great rooms for our family and wonderful hearty breakfast in the morning. Brilliant.

A decent pub serving decent pub grub. Fine dining it's not , but it doesn't pretend to be. The portions were healthy , the vegetables were fresh and the service was prompt. 2 x main courses , 2 X large glass of wine and 2 x vodka and tonics for less than £50. Great value for money in an area that is dripping with overpriced gastro pubs.

Fabulous food. My husband and I haven't left yet but wanted to leave a review for our meals. They were piping hot, tasty and generous portions. We highly recommend a visit. The service was friendly and prompt. There is a good feel about the pub too. We will definitely return.
