We booked a three-night stay at Hendon Studios for my elderly aunt and her daughter, expecting a comfortable, accessible experience. Unfortunately, it was far from what was advertised.Misleading Address and EntranceThe listing indicated an entrance at “268 West Hendon Broadway,” but just before check-in, we were directed to a dark, dirty back alley that wasn’t shown in the photos, creating an unwelcoming and unsafe first impression.Accessibility IssuesOur room was on the third floor, with a non-working heater and cramped, narrow stairs, making it especially challenging for my aunt, who has arthritis. Staff assured us we would be moved to a lower-floor room, but despite repeated messages, our request was ignored—even though other rooms were available on Booking.com.Service Failures and Power OutageOn the third day, our room lost power for over two hours while lower-floor rooms remained unaffected. Initially, staff claimed it was an area-wide issue, but after we pointed out that other rooms still had power, they changed their story. Only after contacting Booking.com were we finally moved to a more accessible room—on the last night of our stay.ConclusionHendon Studios relies on misleading advertising, provides poor service, and disregards accessibility needs. We strongly advise against booking here.

That they had not even swept the floor, that we could not enter the apartment until 4:40 p.m. when the entrance was at 2:00 p.m., that we asked the staff for help since we could not enter the room, they told us that someone would come , and he no longer picked up the phone. We asked please that someone come at least to sweep the floor since it was disgusting to step on barefoot and they did not answer us. That the sheets were not clean and that the mattress had a blood stain. There were hairs, chocolate stains, even a coupon lying next to the nightstand. The last day when we woke up our whole body was itchy and we got several hives on our skin, let's hope they aren't bedbugs. The location was terrible since we took it because there was a train next door but that train did not go anywhere near the center of the city. I mean, every time we wanted to visit the center we had to walk more than twenty minutes to take the nearest underground station, then it was a 50-minute walk and sometimes we even had to change trains, depending on the time of day. I could keep writing and I would always come up short. Unfortunate on the part of the accommodation and Booking, who we also asked for help and we are still waiting for the response that never came. Attached are some of the wonderful photos I took of the apartment. I had to wipe the floor with a damp towel to remove some of the dirt, since it made us sick to step on the floor. I attach a photo of how the towel looked after passing it on the floor, (all these photos just arrived)

Perfect digs for the workman,I work on the tools on site, my room came with own private bathroom in your room, small kitchen to cook your own food. Hotel is modern, crisp & clean. Just what you need after a hard days graft outside. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Host is completely unresponsible. Rooms are good.Other guests are smoking like chimneys and our room has REEKED for DAYS. We’ve tried emailing and calling various numbers for the host but no answer or the numbers are disconnected. We tried knocking on the doors of the suspects (follow the smell) but they refuse to open the door. You can tell they’re in since they’re very loud and having a jolly good time. Fine maybe if you’re a smoker; disgusting if you’re not.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Airconditioning wasn't working. Called number posted on the wall, on the booking as well as online but no one answered. When someone finally did, she said she cannot do anything else or move me in to another room as this was not her job only for emergency. If i had an emergency i'll the policw or firestation not them. Horrible customer service

Stayed here for 1 night (Thursday 15th August) after going to Wembley for Taylor Swift The Eras Tour.Location was perfect from Wembley, maybe a 15 ish minute bus journey (in a good traffic conditions) the journey back to the hotel afterwards on the bus was a nightmare but as expected with 92,000 leaving the show plus other London residentsRoom was cosy, bed was comfortable, had a little kitchen set up so if you was staying longer you could give yourself a self catering experience, bathroom was clean and well stocked, had an iron and ironing board, good amount of storage area, Air con was good, kept the room nice and cool, little TV set up With a desk underneath, heated towel rail and a safe at the bottom of the wardrobeCost wise the room for 1 night was £110, booked in advance plus my boyfriend does know someone who knows the owner so that contributed to the price slightly I believe4 stars as a few of the workers don't speak English so if you had an issues and you don't speak the language of the workers you'll fall into some trouble, 1 night I think pretty much anywhere wouldn't be too much of a bother but if someone was staying like a month or so for work then it could be more of a problem.But regardless of that, with the cost and location if I came to London again for a concert at Wembley I would definitely stay here again for a night.

Brilliant value and excellent location.Just 30 mins from the center of London by thameslink this accomodation is ideal for people trying to avoid city prices or who want better value.The rooms are large and modern , appliances and furniture are well maintained.Checking in is easy with a simple instruction sheet sent on the day, no need to wait for a receptionist.Very nearby is a 24 hour supermarket which is very well stocked.The thameslink station is a 2mins walk away. Adjacent to which is a bus stop with services across nw London.A 15 min walk away is a tube station.Some ways hendon studios could look to improve are:Getting better sound insulation and better fittings to seal windows when shut. Noise easily traveled into my room from the Street. This was only really an issue during commuter times when cars honk due to traffic. Noise at night is usually much better with only sirens being a disturbance.Addtionally the corner of my bed was rather sharp but was hidden by the mattress. Were the bed corner to be rounded out it would decrease the likelyhood of injuries.

Pleasant, well-appointed rooms with kitchenette. However, room 105 where I stayed was very noisy because of a. Engine running in a neighboring room, also at night. A night without sleep. fortunately another room was free. And I was able to change. For those who don't want any noise at all, this hotel is on a major roadtherefore a lot of circulation and windows not insulated.Difficulty reaching reception if necessary because no one on site

Shame such a nice place is spoiled by bad staff. We stayed for a month and it was hell because of the manager we spoke to she was extremely rude ironic and the last messages she did not answer at all as she left us without towels for a whole day while she had read our messages (we have chat evidence in case of request) unprofessional pity!!

Unfortunately, we already had someone in our room when we checked in (double booking?!), which spoiled the first impression a bit.After a phone call with the manager, we were relocated relatively quickly.The rooms are a good size and reasonably equipped. Overall, they are a bit noisy, which you definitely have to deal with.

I stayed in the Hendon Suite for three nights at the beginning of March 2024. It is a self-service hotel, instructions on how and what you need to check in come via email on the check-in day. Everything is well described! Everything worked as it should in my studio. In every studio there is a kitchen, dishes, kettle, refrigerator, even an iron with an ironing board. Had a Roku smart TV in the room which was a plus for me! Since I sleep with Oropax it was very quiet for me. It's probably different for non-Oropax users because there are streets with traffic on two sides of the house. The entrance to the hotel is 288 Herbert Str. From my point of view, the price/performance was very good. A Way2Save is just around the corner, clean and very well stocked.

A modern furnished accommodation in close proximity to public transportation (bus) with many shopping opportunities (groceries) and bistros. However, those hoping for restful nights should look elsewhere. The space is very noisy, and as a bonus, you receive an unwanted and intrusive wake-up service (alarm in the studio's built-in closet) in the middle of the night and early in the morning.The listed complimentary toiletries are not provided. Dirty sheets and hairs in the bathroom seem to be the standard here.Unfortunately, contacting the provider proves to be quite difficult, as attempts at communication are simply ignored or not answered.
