Do not book this place!! We arrived and nobody opened! After hard knocking at the door an old lady opened, clearly drunk, and told us she cannot have guests because she does not feel very well. We booked months before and were not informed about it. She told us she booked us in another house, Motel-style without breakfast. Had to pay again. Very sad and disappointing.

If I could give it zero stars I would!! After paying upfront and even completing an online early check-in when we arrived there was No answer at the door infact it looked empty so I rang up also no answer. Got a return call from an Irish lady who just said I've overbooked and that I would need to find alternative accommodation no apologies nothing absolutely shocking and disgusting. Over 300 miles for nothing.

Very pleasant visit. Comfortable room with virtually zero noise from outside even when having a room at the front of the building. Very reasonable price at £60 a night even during Christmas Market season. …
