Everything absolutely perfect. (If you want to storage your luggage more safely tho, (before check in/after check out) just head to the library across the street and store it there in a locker)

Excellent accomodation.....close to everything you need. Everything was done online for checkout etc. We dropped bag in luggage store and went out for the day. Very comfortable, clean. Would definitely use again on next visit. We had castle view room which was perfect!!

Great location and walking distance to everything! Apartment is spacious, equipped with everything you need and very clean. The washer and dryer is a bonus - if drying just remember it’s not like a US dryer (if from there). Enjoyed the location - be mindful it is near several pubs! Didn’t bother us!

The apartment is perfectly located for exploring Edinburgh. With a fully equipped kitchen and separate lounge, there was more than enough space for the two of us to relax comfortably. Whilst it was very noisy all night, that is only to be expected during the Edinburgh Fringe. We would stay again if we were ever in Edinburgh.

I was lucky to find No. 1 Apartments in Edinburgh for a three week stay. The location couldn't be better, with coffee shops and restaurants right next door. The rooms are clean, with a relaxing aesthetic, and with nice amenities. The Apartment Manager, Jan, was extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. No. 1 Apartments feels like a home away from home. Lovely!

My husband and I stayed at No. 1 Apartments George IV Bridge in Edinburgh for just under one week (on vacation from Canada). We can't say enough good things!! (And I'm VERY particular!!) We initially stayed in a one-bedroom suite (no. 4) and then upgraded to a two bedroom suite (no. 8). Both had views of the castle. Although situated in an older, heritage building, the apartments have a modern aesthetic. This is a walk-up without an elevator or a/c, so that may be an issue for some. We stayed on the very top floor and didn't find the stairs to be an issue. The location is absolutely perfect. It's only a 3 minute walk to the Royal Mile, and maybe 5 more mins to Edinburgh Castle. Holyrood Castle is at the opposite end of the Royal Mile, about a 20 minute walk, at most. Victoria Street (aka Diagon Alley) is literally around the corner, just 2 mins away. Grassmarket is at the end of that short street, about a 4 min walk. Greyfriars Bobby is at the end of the block, so less than a minute's walk away. All to say, it's a great location. While there are no hotel staff members onsite, they're extremely responsive and will come to your suite within minutes, if there's an issue. Peter and Jan (the contacts for our suites) were extremely helpful and always available by phone or in-person. The suites are clean and well-designed. Both the one- and two-bedroom suites have a combined washer/dryer, and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. The two-bedroom is very large and spacious, but only has one bathroom. We loved it. We would return to No. 1 Apartments in a heartbeat. Thanks for an awesome stay!! We hope to return one day!!

The best location in Edinburgh! Have your own bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and brkfst area and a 2nd tv area. We loved the view of the castle out our window on the second floor which there is third floor. Visit Greyfriars Bobby, The Castle, St. Giles, The Royal Mile and close to the hop on hop off bus stop too. We loved having a washer and dryer too!

The place is wonderful, the apartments are beautiful with all the amenities and check-in is easy. But, now comes the problem, during our 3 night stay the owners entered the apartment 3 times, the first because they had to do a check on the smoke system, the second because according to them there was a leak in one of the showers and therefore there was To see it, they asked us not to use the shower, which we accepted, and the third time a plumber had to come, so during our stay we couldn't see everything we wanted to about Edinburgh since every 2 by 3 were in our apartment. I showed my dissatisfaction to the owner and he promised a 30% refund that has never arrived. Our stay was in June, week after week we spoke to him and lately he no longer responds. What a scam, you pay €900 and on top of that you can't even be calm, it's a shame because they are beautiful, but I wouldn't repeat it.
