Too expensive for what you get.The room is cosy and clean. However the bathroon has a shower without showertray and one must shower with the soap and shampoo in the hand which is not comftarble. Also the high price 690pound for 3 nites does not include any breakfast.

I haven't stayed in a guesthouse for some time, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I'm quite used to chain hotels and Airbnbs. However, I found myself delighted. I had a small single room with its own ensuite, that was honestly plenty of room for one when you're out and about in the day. I appreciated the excellent shower and modern bathroom, the spotlessly clean room, and freshly-made bed each day. There's also a kettle with teas and coffee, as well as biscuits and fruit available in the room. It was also nice to have a TV to put on in the evening.Bed was very comfortable and I had three peaceful nights' sleep here.Cathy the owner is incredibly responsive to queries, and happily greeted me at the door on arrival, providing me with a map and handy info for getting into the city and travelling about. The guesthouse is about 15 mins walk into the heart of the old town. You can also take buses from very close by, and taxis/ubers were also easy to get from the location if needed.I found that it was very peaceful to stay here, and I barely ran into anyone on my trips in and out.If you're considering this guesthouse for a trip to Edinburgh, I can throughly recommend it.
