Amazing. Love the place and Rachel was very friendly and helpful.As per other reviews, it's only a 10 minutes drive from Portree and the price is great for the quality of the accomodation. I arrived quite late and Rachel was very accomodating. She even left some items in the fridge to get us started in the morning.No iron but Rachel offered to do it for us which shows how great of a host she is.Appartment is clean, spacious and in a great location.I would highly recommend!

The nicest place we stayed in The Highlands. The room is lovely and the location beautiful. Rachel was welcoming. We appreciated the groceries when we arrived. We were hiking on Skye and this was a great base to travel from. Big room, spotlessly clean.

Such a memorable stay at the Sabhal. I could have stayed on forever. Beautifully decorated and comfortable hut near Portree. The nearest Co op supermarket is ard 10 mins drive away. The bed linen smells great! There is a barn next to our hut that is filled with adorable lambs and sheep. Every morning , I looked forward to visiting the little lambs and listening to the birds chirping. Rachael and family are friendly and chatty. They made me felt so welcome. The 2 sheep dogs are very friendly too. I stayed over for 3 nights. I even catches a glimpse of the Aurora on the first night. It was just outside our door facing the North. Lots of star at night too. Weather was fantastic during 1st week of May. We had our own parking lot few steps away fm the hut. Rachael is such a lovely lady. She prepared treats, eggs, bread upon our arrival. No laundry washing facilities available. We managed to cook simple meals using the electrical stove during our stay. For those looking to visit Isle of Skye, this is a great place to use as ur base. Easy driving to most of the attractions.

Amazing!+ Large room with all you could need (little kitchen, stocked with breakfast, good bed, nespresso machine)+ Great shower+ Outside patio+ Good location, less than 15 min drive to Portree+ Incredibly cleanCannot think of any downsides. The attention to detail is amazing, both in the decoration and providing everything you could possibly need. E.g milk frother, milk and coffee provided, as good as new kitchen utensils, eco friendly bath products, rain shower, automated heating in bathroom.

The Sabhal has two fully equipped and very spacious rooms and particularly the one where we stayed had such a lovely and colourful decoration. Rachael was a great host and she even got us some basics for breakfast, in case we could not reach the supermarket on our arrival day. Each room has an outside terrace too, which definitely must be nice to enjoy when the weather is warmer.

We have stayed here for the 3rd time in a year and had the pleasure of sleeping in each of the rooms and most recently the shepherd's hut. We absolutely love this place and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Skye. Rachel and Alley are the perfect hosts going above and beyond to make each stay better than the last. I would find it extremely difficult to find a fault in each of the rooms weve been in. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Such a lovely and cute stay in the Shepherds Hut. We initially Wanted to book one of the other rooms which are a bit large but they were not available. However we absolutely loved the shepherds hut it had everything we needed including a wood burning fire and Rachael left lots of treats for us. So glad we found this space and will be recommending to anyone who stays on the Isle of Skye
