Absolutely the best experience ever. The bnb’s location is amazing. 10 minutes from Portree and so many amazing walks around the place.Shona and Eric are amazing hosts and were most than helpful in suggesting places to see and eat at.The room was very nice and comfortable and there is a lot of parking available. The bnb has an amazing view as well.

It was all just perfect. The warm welcome, the big room, the excellent bed, the new bathroom, the cosy lounch, the delicious breakfast, the lovely hosts. We had an exceptional stay at the Dunlist B&B. To recommend! My next stay on Skye is at Dunlist again. Thank you Shona.

You can't go wrong with Dunlist! Great hospitality, freshly made and plentiful breakfast, confortable rooms and facilities, cosy decor and beatiful views in a relaxing and quite location! Just 10 min drive from Portree where you can find a number of restaurants and other facilities. A perfect location from where you can easily reach many of the best hikes in Isle of Skye. Can't wait to go back!

We spent 3 weeks traveling on our motorbikes in Scotland. We had 7 accommodations during this time, all of which were great, but the Dunlist B&B stands out here.It was the most beautiful and relaxing accommodation on our trip.Starting with the location of the B&B. About 8 km outside of Portree, the accommodation is in an absolutely quiet location, with a great view of the sea. It is exceptionally quiet and so relaxing. Also worth mentioning are the hosts Shona and Eric, two very nice, exceptionally attentive hosts. You immediately feel at home and are warmly welcomed and looked after.The breakfast must also be mentioned, here you will be spoiled with a very good haggis in the “full Scottish breakfast”.The rooms are very modern and the beds are great. The lounge/living room is large and has 3 great sofas.We really enjoyed our stay there and when we return to Skye we will definitely book ourselves into Dunlist.Many thanks to Shona and Eric for a great time in your house.

We spent three nights here on a motorcycle tour. Our stay was one of the most beautiful and best on our tour. Very nice house, great rooms with a huge bathroom. Everything is very modern and well maintained. Our hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful to no end. It was a very family atmosphere. The view and location can't be beat.We felt very comfortable. Thank you for that.

Me and my wife stayed here in June 2018. This has been one of the best B&B i have ever been to. And i have been in some. The personal touch and feel of this place, makes it a true home away from home. Were you still can be yourself but with an exceptional view over the valley and the surroundings.Once you have bested the adventurous road, you will be rewarded with a very cosy home and very nice, warm and friendly owners.So in two words: highly recommended.

Wonderful B&B with a beautiful lounge space for guests in a newly built and refurbished house. Truly a home away from home! Breakfast was outstanding and Shona was super helpful with local tips on where to go and what to do. Only 10 min drive from restaurants in Portree and 15min from Sligachan and mountain walks there. Would definitely stay there again!

This B&B has everything! Off the main road it gives you a quiet place to stay. The house has a comfortable atmosphere and feels less like a B&B but more like the family home that it was before. Breakfast is exceptional with multiple delicious options that you can order the night before. The hosts are most friendly, helpful and forthcoming - and very charming to talk to. We felt very much at home here and hope to get the opportunity to return soon.
