We stayed here for 4 nights from 20-03-2022 to 25-03-2022 for my 50th birthday, it was amazing, such a beautiful place, everyone we met were so friendly from the people in the pub,we met Dawn she was really lovely and friendly, Gus the boatman was great really friendly and chatty and knowledgeable and gave us some great advice on some of the Skye tourist attractions to visit and about wildlife that we saw around the island too! The accommodation is fantastic the rooms are super comfortable bathrooms are really great,a lovely log burner in the lounge with plenty of logs for the cosy evenings in reading a book, fantastic kitchen, we enjoyed the island so much we did a bit of seafood foraging and had winkles for lunch one day and fresh mussels another also we did a bit of wild swimming twice on different sides of the island it were cold but amazing and sat outside a few evenings with the fire pit flaming away while drink the local beers and whisky and gin and tonic watching the scenery change the different contrasts of colour as the night falls, whilst sat outside at dusk one evening a very large otter actually came up onto the island not too far from us, that was amazing,we sat on the rocks the first morning of being there a looked across the sea and was so lucky to see a pod of porpoise just off the shore from us surfacing frequently and also seals and otters and cormorants just truly magical, the sea was flat like a mirror the we were lucky the weather was fantastic, felt so relaxed there, really didn’t want to leave, our two lurchers loved exploring the island too, it’s so great the find such a beautiful holiday cottage that’s dog friendly too,it’s so good that the dogs are very welcome,we will definitely be back as this is now my new favourite place.Thankyou Eilean Sionnach Lighthouse Cottage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great views, Silence, no phone signal (they do have great wifi) everything you need to switch off and recharge your batteries. You can see a lot of time and energy has been put into the accommodation to make it feel like a home away from home. Danni, Gus and the team really helped to make our stay memorable with some great advice on things to do/see on Skye. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend time on Skye and stay in a truly unique accommodation.
