We are just back from a 3 day visit to Skye and can’t wait to do it again. Alison & Stefan were extremely gracious and knowledgeable hosts and their facilities are second to none and all things are catered for. The pods are warm and cosy even in the changeable weather on Skye for this time of year and made our trip most memorable ..

Just back from a 3 day stay with Alison & Stefan at Aurora Skye and cannot wait until our next trip . The location and views are simply breathtaking even in the changeable weather this time of year and the pods are so well equipped and thought out it made our stay effortless . Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable of what was worth visiting and even planned a route for us.

Awesome Aurora, had a lovely stay at this wonderful holiday location. Four miles from Skye Bridge giving access to the Mallaig Ferry at Armadale, Sleat, South Skye, the Outer Hebrides from Uig in North Skye and Cuillin Mountain views in west Skye. The views from your Pod are breathtaking, Broadford Bay, Scalpay, Raasay and over to Applecross. As named you can see the Aurura Borealis on a clear night. Facilities at the Aurora Pods are great, the kitchen area is well provided with an induction hob, microwave, kettle etc, with most everyday utensils you would need. Soft cumfy double bed with additional sofa bed if required and an ample shower room. The Pod was very clean and tidy with locally sourced treats which was a lovely gesture from Stephan and Alison who as hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.A highly recommended getaway location on a lovely site on the Isle of Skye.

Aurora Skye is beautiful. You have a really nice view there. The parking lot is below the huts, about a 2-minute walk.As a welcome there were biscuits, a Scottish sweet as well as beer and fresh milk. Really super nice touches. There is also a small games basket with card games, chess etc., really great.The outside area is really nice, especially the view completes everything. Here you can end the evening wonderfully.Everything went smoothly. We'd love to come back :)

The pod is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming.Highly recommended for couples and young people.The owner was very kind.It provides a car charging station and ample parking.Close to the structure there are the main services, food, fuel, bars and restaurants.The location is convenient as a base for getting around Skye.

We had the most amazing time in Skye and had the best sleeps and view at aurora skye! We cannot thank Stef and Allison enough for giving us great local advice and helping us make the most of our time in Skye!The pod was amazing! I really appreciate all of the little touches the pod has! It is fully equipped with everything you need and is so thoughtfully organized! The pod is immaculate and the beds are sooo comfortable! My kids slept on the sofa bed and they had the best sleeps as well!!!Most importantly (at least for us!) the view was incredible! The pods are situated on a hill, so the view of the lake and glens was breathtaking!I have stayed in quite a few pods and by far, this one has been the best! Between the view, comfort of bed, cleanliness, equipped with essentials, fire pit etc. we couldn’t have asked for more!

Aurora Skye is the best place we have ever stayed. The pod has absolutely everything necessary for everyday life, including an iron. A great convenience is the charger for electric cars in the parking lot, which helped us tremendously. The location is very convenient and picturesque - there are extraordinary views from there. It is close to the center, shops and all the attractions of Isle of Skye. Additionally, Aurora Skye's owners are very helpful. We definitely recommend it and will come back in the future!

We had a fabulous stay at Aurora! Stunning setting, very comfortable bed and pods that are well equipped with kitchen utensils including local welcoming treats. The EV charging on site was great, perfect to charge our car overnight and tour the island during the day. We had dinner at 1 restaurant Red Skye at walking distance (gets pretty busy so advised to book) and got a takeaway pizza in Broadford another evening. It was truly top notch - we can’t wait to come back!

1st time in a POD and they didn’t disappoint. Inside , everything you could need for a stay away from home. Finished to an amazingly high standard. Super comfortable bed; amazing views.|Great base to explore what the Island has to offer. Hosts that care about your experience ! Fantastic experience!!!!!

Just back from our holiday at Aurora Skye and it was one of our best trips. The accommodation we stayed in was first class and the pods were of a very high standard not your normal plastic beds. We couldn’t fault the pods they were very welcoming and had everything you would. Need for your stay. Including a full shower and toilet as well as heating which tbh we didn’t need as they are so warm anyway. The owners are so helpful and will do anything to make your stay a great one. The surrounding area is beautiful and you have shops and restaurants within a walkable distance. All in all we will be back for sure

My wife and I stayed in one of the Glamping pods at Aurora Skye for 4 nights in April and it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very welcoming with great knowledge of the island. They had lots of advice for us on places to visit during our stay. Arrival and departure was easy and contactless. The POD was very comfortable and equipped to a high standard with all of the amenities you could possibly need: a fully functional kitchen, a spacious bathroom complete with heated flooring and a very comfortable bed. There were complimentary products for us on arrival. The attention to detail was first class. Oh, and the view from the POD was amazing! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning.
