We stayed 2 nights in this B&B.The rooms are small and spartan, but ultimately comfortable and you sleep well, that's what they're for after all.The staff were very nice and super helpful (Thank you Laura!!).Then the position is truly enviable...every morning has a different colour.At the adjoining restaurant you can taste the typical specialties of the island, salmon and cullen skink first and foremost...It may not be the Hilton, but in the end you feel at home.

Located right next to the Skye Bridge, making it a perfect spot for exploring the Isle of Skye. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. we actually didn't spend a night in the hotel so we can't comment on the rooms or anything else. still we wanted to write a review because the friendly owners gave us a full refund although we booked a non refundable night over booking.com (booked the wrong night that's why we couldn't stay) we are extremely happy and thankful for being able to cancel without charge!

The room was okay, but nothing more. A bit shabby and musty, but clean. The view was of a small garden. The bathroom was large, everything was okay, only there was no storage space. It was the same in the room: the closet had a clothes rail with 3 hangers, that was it. The enormous clairaudience can be very negative; you can hear every conversation next door.The location on Skye Bridge is good, there is a restaurant and bar in town, opening times are a bit unclear.I also found the breakfast good, you can choose between Scottish and continental. It is offered in the bar next door. The staff there was very nice and fit.So: good for one night, but I wouldn't want to stay longer.However, too expensive for what is offered.

The promised 'sea view' was obstructed by a parked van belonging to the neighbor or the operator himself. But that's besides the point.The price-quality ratio ⤵️For a small double bedroom with 2 single beds € 187. No heating and defective boiler on arrival, so you cannot shower. Electric additional heating was arranged by the receptionist, but the shower remained defective. Complaint was submitted to the owner, which ultimately resulted in a €60 refund. Yet this accommodation is not worth € 127. Think accommodation uses/abuses the popularity of the Isle of Sky. I know I booked this room myself, but I will never come back there. Advice for future travelers: first read all reviews of neighboring accommodations (hostel/saucemary) and then decide, where forewarned counts for two.Definitely not worth 3 stars.Seemed more like a room in a hostel.The breakfast was good.In addition, we think the island of Sky is overrated.

We were there from May 19th to May 21st and stayed in a neighboring house. Cobwebs, furniture full of bulky waste, a heavily soiled carpet, a shed in which towels, bed linen, etc. were simply stored openly on the floor awaited us. We would have been better off looking under the bed sheet. But the highlight was breakfast in a pub. The tables were sticky and a basic cleaning would have been absolutely necessary. On the 2nd morning the staff was in such a good mood that they refused to serve our paid and ordered breakfast. We were in Scotland for 12 days, but we never encountered anything like this. Especially when you consider the price you have to pay for such a place. 1 star is 5 too many.

We needed an overnight stay at the entrance to Skye to continue our journey, the hotel fulfilled our objectiveIn our case the room was clean with a brand new shower, in a building other than the one visible in the booking photosThe rooms were poorly soundproofed but luckily we had no direct neighbors and were too noisyIf you only stay one night, it's OKIf you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugsNo shutters in the room and the curtains were broken, fortunately wake up time was early in all casesThere is little availability of hotels on Skye and the prices are quickly very high, this establishment can be a solution by being accommodating because it remains very well located

A very strange place. The location is great because it's right at the exit from Sky, but everything else is almost only minuses.- the "town" was actually waiting for us in front of the only pub in the area, obviously in a state of intoxication.- the host appeared out of nowhere and took us to our room, located quite a distance from the main building in an old house in a very neglected garden.- he gave us the information in a hurry- the host was not friendly - when we asked for two bowls and spoons, he said he didn't have them because the kitchen was already closed- we got a room with a broken door lock- for breakfast you go to another separate building/pub nearby- breakfast very good, but for example such shortcomings as waiting for the delivery of toasted bread for a very long time while the hot food was already cooling down- people who, for example, were five minutes late for their paid food were told that the kitchen was already closed, while they could still eat some cereal etc.- expensive accommodation and not worth the price - the only thing that, in my opinion, makes people stay here is the location.I don't recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our family vacation. The B&B is very well located and has a splendid view of the Isle of Skye bridge and the waters. The check in was very smooth (not in the same building as the stay). The rooms were as seen in the photos. It was clean, tidy and well maintained. It was very comfortable and had all amenities. Breakfast was provided at Saucy Mary's as part of the stay, which was a delicious spread of Scottish breakfast (also had other options as part of the pre-paid booking).Would definitely recommend Glenarroch B&B for a stay in Kyleakin.

Rooms basic too expensive for what you get .we're there for 3 nights no housekeeping. Man on reception blamed covid . Joke nobody told us this .staff in restaurant were great but prices were something else no cereal if you were having cooked breakfast .wouldn't recommend this place .

We took a small room since there were no more left. Something tight but very comfortable beds. Clean and with an attached bar for breakfast included and for dinner, which is quite good. There is a castle in ruins nearby, a 5-10 minute walk. Good place to sleep before and after Skye
