Have stayed at the Judd many times and it is always a great experience. Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms and in a fantastic location to explore London whilst being very close to King’s Cross Station. Highly recommend this hotel as it is good value.

Very bad experience! I don't recommend it...We booked at the Judd Hotel but they sent us to a building on the other block, they gave us a room 3 stairs down without an advisor, regardless of the fact that we had said that we were going with people over 60 years old, the hotel was damp, the floor was upholstered It was wet, when we got to the room they smelled bad, one of the bathrooms was flooded, the beds were very small, they had no ventilation... the breakfast area was very small, it got a lot congested!

Great location and very helpful & amicable staff. Room small but clean and comfortable. Stairs up to third floor pretty steep & narrow so wouldn't recommend staying up there if you have big luggage to carry as there's no lift.

This hotel is OK, the rooms are very clean and finished to a high standard. They're small. But, some rooms are in the lower ground floor (basement). This is unacceptable, you should list basement rooms as a different room type so guests can determine if they're willing to take them.PS. The hotel routinely provides a stock response without addressing the issue of assigning guests to rooms of different quality. This is an abuse of the review system.

The Judd is a basic, clean, no frills hotel. Its main advantages are that it's cheaper, quiet and it's near to St Pancras. There is no lift, so you do need to be physically able.

Perfectly fine ... as long as you don't forget anything. This place was cruising to a solid 4 stars: kind desk staff, small room, quiet, a little rundown and a little expensive, but close to the station and altogether fine — until I left my (expensive thanks to my weird prescription) sunglasses behind. One would think that a hotel — a business predicated on clients who do not live where it is located — would have a helpful system for returning lost and treasured items. One would be wrong.I was given the options of coming myself (???) or figuring out how to get postal supplies (including sufficient packaging for delicate, expensive things) to the hotel. Or I guess what I did do: beg someone I knew to take up an errand across London as a favor. This indicative of the kind of service you can expect, apparently. I do not need fancy concierges or luxury, but I do need people who can help me out, should something go wrong in a city I do not regularly inhabit. So you can stay here, but just hope nothing goes wrong, because they will not help you.

Nice hotel, clean, very good service at reception, fabulous location. The room itself was smallish (there was no table on which one could meaningfully set a laptop and work): but there were very comfortable twin beds as asked, an excellent shower, and, not least, a super breakfast
