Our stay at the North Skye Pods, during our road trip in Scotland, was an unforgettable experience.Immersed in the nature of the Scottish countryside, surrounded only by the sound of the wind and sheep, we felt alive and free.After long days of exploring, the cabin was a perfect retreat and evenings spent watching the sunset brought us into total harmony with the landscape.It was one of the most intense moments of our trip, which will remain in our hearts forever.

I've nothing different to add to the reviews already here, these pods are just wonderful. Great location, clever design, spotlessly clean and with fabulous views. The photos don't do them justice but I wanted to add one from our rainy week anyway! If you're going to be in Skye over a wet week you want to be staying here where it will still feel magical. 😊

An absolutely STUNNING experience. Everything was so cozy and comfortable, and the views were incredible. Edward was always helpful and friendly on site. I wish I never had to leave! Be sure to tell the goats hello for me when you visit ;-)

We had a great and a memorable time in the pods. Everything was perfect right from the instructions to check in, location, views, amenities, heating, cleanliness, parking, local hikes, proximity to the local attractions and restaurants etc.. Edward was very friendly, responsive, proactive and knows exactly what his guests would need. The red folder that was provided in the pod was had a very clear and concise information needed for us during the stay. Will definitely recommend and would visit again.

Very nice place and very comfy place to stay. Edward- the host - is very nice person and he can help you if you need. Pods are comfy and in pods you can find everything (wash and dry clothes is close to Edward's van). I recomend this place.

Brilliant host and good view from the pods, nice and clean rooms, BBQ available with all equipments, hotel has kitchen utensils bathroom shower, buck beds, no dishwasher and washing machine so plan accordingly. Oven, toaster is there too, along with kettle and crockery.

Just an awesome experience! Great location and some of the nicest, cleanest pods I've ever seen. Awesome view out of the front window, strong wifi, and all the furnishings you would need in a cozy pod. Edward is an awesome host and a great guy. And for the cost - I'd stay here over the BnBs on the island any day!

The cabins are very well designed, with many details that facilitate the stay and with everything you need to spend a few days well, it was also impeccable, very clean. It has beautiful views!

Cozy and comfortable pods with spectacular views and friendly host, Edward. Edward slept in his van/caravan whilst his guests get the 5-star wilderness treatment. Possibility to wash and dry clothes which is a major plus.Pods are virtually new and in very good condition. Insulation is good however it's easy to air the pods out by opening the front door and window in the bedroom (and or kitchen skylight) to cause a fresh air current.Double bed in main living area is large and comfortable. Bunkbeds are cozy too but best suited for smaller children. Think more of a cot for anyone adult sized.Staffin is pretty much the last "town" at the North of the island. A local shop is open 9-6pm and the Cafe offers good food and beverages. We didn't try the other food option, an evening takeaway, but keep in mind if you arrive on a Sunday then you have no options. Portree is about 30 mins drive and very busy with tourists during peak periods.

Edward is a fantastic host. It seems he has thought of everything. A microwave, convection oven, HOB (or range for us from the states), fridge, with silverware, tableware, and cooking supplies. He even has oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar and small things of milk. The views are amazing out the one wall that's almost all glass. There's blackout curtains on all the windows if you come during the summer, like we did. Heated floors, TV with lots of options, but we didn't watch much TV. He gave advice on hikes to do around the island, grocery stores, restaurants in Staffin and the grocery stores in Staffin and Portree. Next time we are back in Skye, this is where I'd like to stay. Love! Love! Love!

The view from the terrace of the pods is really beautiful, especially in good weather. You can see the Quiraing and of course many, many sheep. Edward is a very pleasant person with whom it is very easy to start a conversation. The pod was very clean and since it is still very new also almost like unused. From Staffin you also have the option to leave the car and walk to the beach (with dinosaur footprints we have not seen them ;-). There is also a supermarket and a well hidden unspectacular playground, but for our 2.5 year old daughter still super. And otherwise children can also just run around on Edward's land, watch butterflies and sheep, just great!!!! The size of the pod is sufficient if you are out all day anyway. We really enjoyed our stay here without exception and would definitely go here again if we visit Skye again (when our daughter is then older and we can also do the challenging hikes).

Beautifully appointed, quietly located on the NE side of the Island, only 15 miles from Portree.
Spacious inside, everything you need for a relaxing break absolutely great value for money..

This was a fun and easily recommendable. The pods are a hidden little gem, built well and surprisingly comfortable. They have all the useful modern amenities, without being excessive. They're also roomier than expected housing up to 4 (two will have proper beds and two will have bunks, but the bunks are a bit awkward to use). These pods are kept clean and very well maintained by the host, Mr Edward, who is very friendly, informative and accommodating, and seemingly running the entire operation by himself! The pods are also in a good location, as they are pretty close to some good sites to visit. The area directly surrounding them is also very pretty. All in all, this was a great experience.

Wonderful accomodation in a superb location. Our pod was really clean, high quality fittings, and was great for our 5 day stay. Three of us (all adults) fitted in fine and was nice to have underfloor heating and hot showers even in the middle of summer.
