Kept waiting outside for half hour then eventually shown our room for it to not of even been cleaned and made up. I expect it not being perfect for low budget but rooms aren't at all like in the pictures

I really don’t have high expectations while traveling on low cost, but that was beyond my expectations. We couldn’t contact the owner- he didn’t answer the phone nor messages and the doors were closed. We were seriously worried we didn’t have anywhere to sleep that night and it ruined our first day in London. He finally answered my email, which I’d sent a week earlier and we could check- in 6 hours after first arriving.Bathrooms were absolutely gross with mold on the ceiling and dirt on shower curtains. We were disgusted to touch anything there. The rooms themselves were not that bad, but opening the door with its old keypad required a few tries and minutes of practice.Overall, if you need just a place to sleep in London, you can choose The Lions, it will not be the most pleasurable stay though and you will want to forget about it as soon as you check out.

I paid 400 pound total for 11 nights, so that was a real bargain (I would not recommend staying here if you pay more than that, it isn't worth it) The bargain is probably why I put up with the issues I faced. …

Noise, window in very poor condition, poor reception, difficult to find, door closed, we had to inquire near the DIY store on the ground floor, very friendly.

We waited 50 minutes for a room that wasn't cleaned. After taking a look at the shared bathroom, we wanted our money back. There are 4 showers and 4 toilets, none of them clean. …

Right by the street and broken windows = woke up because of police cars rushing by all night. + constant noises from outside. Therefore super cold room - although heater provided.Booked the place for 180 EURO a night but ended up paying 180 POUND. = 40 EURO more than first expected.Don’t go there. When we asked for someone to fix the windows the man simply taped up the cracks. :)
