I start with the rooms. I stayed in a three-bed triple room with my daughter and my aunt. It smelled of tobacco, although not much, but when we arrived there was another guest complaining that she couldn't breathe the smell of tobacco in her room. We had a testimonial closet, little more than a cupboard, it was 2 meters high by half wide, four hangers and that's it (I insist that it was for three people). On a small table next to it there was a water heater and a spoon (dirty, from having been used by someone else), with instant coffee, tea, etc. I preferred not to touch anything, seeing the general state of everything. The room was very dirty, cobwebs, marks from previous guests having put coffee on some kind of counter, some drips on the wall of who knows what, a dirty sock on the smoke detector, plastic appeared on the bed after having passed to do them. And that was only what was seen, I preferred not to investigate more than necessary. The beds with very old spring mattresses all sank and the springs dug into the back. Very uncomfortable. The bathroom is large, but with the sticky wall, the screen that has not been cleaned for at least a year and the shower head mostly clogged by lime, and the fixed ones.I continue for the service, non-existent. I only saw a girl who was in a hurry to solve the complaint of the lady whose room smelled of tobacco, she gave us the key and we never saw anyone again. They made the bed, but in 5 nights they didn't change the sheets even once (even though we accidentally stained a pillowcase), and the towels were changed on the third day because we left them on the floor. Cleaning was NON-EXISTENT.I continue with the location. It is true that for London it is affordable, but it is very far from everything. A 12-minute walk away you have a restaurant and it is a neighborhood with a certain charm, but the metro line that goes there is the Central, which if you have been to London you know what it entails, and for those of you who have not been I will tell you what it is. a line with very old trains, without air conditioning and that is very full most of the time, and don't think about showing up at 8 in the morning or 7 in the afternoon. If you want to use the bus, from the center you have to make 4 transfers and it is an hour and a half between trips and walking. Another negative thing is that the hotel does not offer breakfast and that you have to move around a bit to find a good place to have breakfast.I attach photos of some things I mention here. Although the price is more affordable than in the city center, it does not mean that you have to sleep in unsanitary and uncomfortable conditions. The only positive thing is that it didn't have bed bugs, which apparently is quite common in hotels in the city.

The place far exceeded my expectations. Despite the cost not being disproportionate (compared to the London average), I found the room perfectly clean, large enough, with plenty of hangers, a well-functioning shower, …

Very good

A small hotel that can satisfy everyone for few nights staying in London . At a good price . Not so far from subway , few minutes walk , and other minutes to reach center of London. Was very easy to check in and check out in a quiet zone hotel . Was worth the money.

Host very nice. Nice clean sheets and fresh towels each day, but room was tired and could do with a deep clean. Bathroom clean but could do with attention. No food options on site but there is a tescos in walking distance. That said, not bad value for London, might be back if I'm in the area.

It's the cheap hotel that you pay for. Nothing wrong with it, slept okay during my stay and couldn't really use it for more than that.

Spacious room with comfortable bed but lack of hygiene and maintenance. Expensive for what it offers but seeing the prices of accommodation in the center they take advantage of it

When we arrived the room was dirty. Stains on the sheets, we had to ask the housekeeper to vacuum otherwise she wouldn't do it. Cheap hotel but if you are a stickler for cleanliness don't go there!
