Perfect hotel for a short trip to London; cheap, rooms clean, breakfast ok, staff friendly and the subway is around the corner. There are also good Asian takeaways in the area which can save you a bit of money and Finsbury Park is right across the street. I usually chilled and ate there with my friends in the evenings

Pretty good hotel according to comparisons with others that I have heard about. My room was very small but it was comfortable to sleep in, the mattress and pillow helped my back after long days of sightseeing. The bathroom was very small, only one person could be in it and the shower is difficult not to hit the walls but it does its job. There was no plague. The staff was friendly, the only problem was that they didn't clean our room every day. Another problem was that the fire alarm went off at six (probably because a guest smoked) and made us all run, scared and raining in the middle of December. We couldn't return to our rooms for more than half an hour.It was less than ten minutes from the Finsbury Park tube stop which provided easy access to the rest of the city.Warning: you enter from behind, it looks like a garage and it was difficult for us to get in. You have to ring a bell, it's a bit strange.

This hotel cancelled my booking and notified our third party that ‘we requested a cancellation’. Now we have to look for accommodation elsewhere on these dates which have now tripled in price.

Friendly staff, clean room and good price for a 4 beds room. Very next to an underground and bus station. Near to a park for waking and many amenities nearby. …

A warning, they are unpresentable, a week before traveling, we traveled on Monday, we received an email saying that they cannot accommodate us, without any explanation, be very careful with booking at this hotel, all the bad opinions are true, it is the worst experience that we have encountered, and ABOVE ALL, do not book on their website, we have been lucky that we did it with Booking, and they have provided us with another hot reservation on their website, we have been lucky that we did it with Booking, and They have given us another hotel

Unfortunately, I cannot rate my stay, the product or service itself, because the hotel decided to cancel my reservation without giving any reason. It left me in a difficult situation as I had already taken the steps to book and depart, had incurred costs and had to find an alternative hotel. I have been working in the hotel industry for over 15 years and this situation should absolutely not happen. Before making such a cancellation, the hotel should contact the guest, explain the situation, provide a rational reason, and certainly not leave the guest without accommodation and try to look for an alternative option in a similar region and at a similar price. Hence my low rating as a warning to other potential guests.

Sound proofing in the rooms is awful. Stains on the bed sheets. Toilet paper as bad is in schools in the 70's. (Those who know, know!) Overpriced. Rooms too small to even move about properly. Hotel car park it way too expensive. …

The staff don't even want to talk to you. We couldn't even get in the hotel at first and were wandering around looking for an entrance. …

Nice little hotel. Quiet location, a bit noisy. Friendly service. Rooms extremely small, but everything you need is there. Only the bathroom is a challenge. Tiny and unheated. We used it in the winter to keep our drinks and yoghurts cold (no exaggeration). If you then miss the times when the water is heated, the whole thing becomes a gauntlet. However, the location near Finsbury Park Station can't be beat. Supermarkets and pubs nearby.
