The Location is nice. The room carpets are stained and many surfaces dirty and dusty. Every time someone opens their door your door bangs (I suppose that's what the provided ear protection is for), the hot water runs out quickly, so you cant have a long shower and the rooms dont look like the advertised pictures.

Very good value for money, check-in was really easy and the amenities are perfect for a weekend stay in London. The location is amazing, so much to do and see in Shoreditch. The bed was super comfy and the natural light made the room feel very fresh and homely.

I booked this hotel directly through the property in January 2024, for a 3-night stay in July. Having already been there, I wanted to repeat the experience with gold.Four days before arrival, I wrote to them, having no longer received any news either on check-in or the codes to enter the facility.Then I am told that they cannot find my reservation, but I promptly send the payment and the chat made in January.After at least half a day of waiting I was told that my reservation had been CANCELED (according to them due to a problem with the program) and that they had room for the following week, or if I had not accepted the change of dates, they would have given me the refund money.All this, four days before I arrived in London.Obviously, not being able to change the flight but knowing that errors/problems can happen, I asked them to solve the problem by looking for another equal structure where I could stay. I was told to wait until the next day and that everything would be resolved.The next day, after I contacted them, they never contacted me again, I was told that they cannot book another facility for me, that the owners of the facility do not work on weekends, and that the only possible solution was to give me return the money.I tried to insist as much as possible, but at 7pm in the evening when the operator was finishing her shift I asked for the money back (which arrived in my account 5 days later) and I had to find another accommodation paying a disproportionate amount given the vicinity.The only positive thing about the situation was the girl I spoke to, Caroline, she was always very kind and understanding, but unfortunately without the approval of the bosses she couldn't solve the problem.I FEEL COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE BEHAVIOR OF THE STRUCTURE.ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I recently had booked a stay here, my host Caroline was absolutely fantastic, was quick to respond to all my messages and was able to help with any of the needs i had, they were amazing with all my last minute changes and extremely understanding with my circumstances. I would gladly stay here again with Caroline as my host.

Great place if you can put up with the noisy road outside. They provide earplugs but I bring my own. The room was clean and comfortable. I love that you get a kitchenette too. Would definitely stay here again

Great price value hotel in a vibing London neighbourhood, D8 is pretty much my go to when travelling for work (handy as every room has a little desk to work on) or leisure, the rooms are large and very nicely decorated and as everything you need (including earplugs to make sure you have a peaceful night), the common area are also very nice especially the quiet bar/terrace of the D8 house.The host is always available, kind and make sure you have everything you need for your stay.Probably my 5/6th visit and definitely not the last!Ines

Well located for underground stations and close to London city center (25/30min follow where you go)Very poorly insulated on the outside and insideYou can clearly hear your neighbors... Very unpleasant.Major problem of mist and humidity present within the accommodationExpensive for what it is.If you stay several days you have to pay 25 pounds to have your toiletries changed. Or give a blow in the bedroom. Considering his first one, it's a bit of an abuse. Damage.

i've stayed at d8 on two occasions now and compared to some of the other places i have stayed around shoreditch these guys get a big 5 stars from me! A lovely lady by the name of caroline ensured i had a wondeful stay and that i was comfortable in my room, the room at my first stay was lovely, modern, spacious with enough room for me to do my yoga and qi gong practice in the mornings. My second stay the room was nice but not as nice as my first stay but the customer service was amazing which made up for it! I would definitely recommend to stay here if your looking for somewhere nice and cosy to stay! they also have kitchen facilities and a terrace area! Thank you so much to caroline again! x

Can't fault this place for the price! It's cosy, there's big, private bathrooms (even if they're external) and there's facilities in the kitchen for everyone--even biscuits!Carolina was amazing and so quick to respond to any questions or requests, she made the stay excellent.There's earplugs readily available for the noise of the local environment. The bed was really comfy, I'd give an extra star for a bathroom included in the room but the external one was the only room left!The location is perfect for trains, tubes or just walking into Shoreditch high Street.

Haven’t stayed here yet but cannot wait for my stay.. I had an issue with my original booking and contacted via WhatsApp. I spoke with a pleasant lady called Caroline who was so helpful and kind, she really couldn’t do enough for me! More workers really need to be like Caroline 10/10 customer service!! Thank you so much ☺️
