Warm and friendly welcome, room had everything we needed including helpful things like bus timetables, quiet and peaceful despite road outside, breakfast was tasty and with good portions. Our hosts were so friendly and chatty. 20 mins walk to Poole Quay, Co-op over the road, takeaways nearby for dinner, and easy walk to Lake Pier to enjoy the takeaway with a view.

Best B&B around. The hosts were attentive, friendly and made a great breakfast with an Irish twist. Rooms were clean and well catered for, great location for local routes and only 10 minutes walk to the local pub & 30 minutes to the waterside area. Plenty of bang for your buck.

A very nice place away from the crowds, the rooms are very clean, as is the bathroom. The owners are very nice, helpful and hospitable. The English breakfast is very good, although it becomes a bit monotone after a longer stay. Overall, I highly recommend it, the only drawback is the lack of Wi-Fi access.

A very cosy place to stay for a few nights. Got greeted and taken to my room, and got settled in. Shared bathroom and shower were quite well kept. Was easy to come and go when needed. Was a bit startled that the room was changed the next day (I guess I'm used to post-COVID rules where rooms aren't touched). Breakfast was a delight and the hosts were charming and discussed various topics of conversation. A really quaint place.

Lovely guesthouse situated off the main road, not too far from Poole Quay. Took us about 20 min walk to get into town. Parking available. We stayed in the chalet which is a separate building to the side of the main house. This has an open plan, mezzanine style layout..fully self contained with kitchen, living area and bathroom as well as the bedroom. All really lovely although stairs up to the bedroom area are quite skinny and no good if you've had one too many!Kitchen has microwave, kettle and a (very)mini fridge. Hosts supplied tea, coffee, sugar,fresh milk and a fully stocked biscuit tin on arrival. Bathroom had toiletries, shampoo etc and plenty of loo rolls. Everything you need is there..tea towels, wash up liquid etc..no need to pack extra bits.Breakfast was in the main house and hosts gave us a time slot to avoid crowding which was fine..food was cooked well, not at all greasy and a nice sized portion. Full English and cereals, toast, jam etc..The owners were really welcoming and chatty.. knowledgeable if you need info about the local area and nothing any bother. Had a lovely time and would recommend x

The San Michele is well situated for either a beach, shopping or quayside enjoyment holiday. The hosts Karen and Stafford are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are well kept with everything you need and the breakfast is divine. Listen to the advice from the hosts, we were swimming in the sea within 30 mins of arriving and we ate at a great pub called the red lion on the way home. All because of Staffords advice (thanks you two, it was brilliant)

I had a comfortable stay at this very pleasant guesthouse. It's a short distance from Poole Quay and other attractions, but an econmic alternative to overpriced hotels (you can pay £249 per night at one of them). The host and hostess were particularly friendly and welcoming. Highy recommended.

They are lovely people and accomodating. The breakfast they served was worthy of chef standards I loved it. The guest house is really nice they have put a lot of effort in to make u Thier guest. The place is really nicely kitted out I have really enjoyed my time here.
