This is such a delightful find. The people are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. It's only 20mins walk to the beach and is surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Food is incredible.

Rooms are basic but clean and fresh, also warm, we turned the heating off. Also tea and coffee facilities in each room. Grounds are beautiful, there is even a heated pool. (Unsure when that closes for the winter though) Free parking onsite. Food was really good with GF choice. We were full board and every meal was lovely. The staff were special, nothing was too much trouble. This is definitely a great place to retreat to. There is a sense of calmness in the place, loads of space so that you do not feel on top of other people , but there is still a warm atmosphere. The retreat is about 10 mins walk to the beach, strolling down a leafy suburb road. I will definitely look to use this place again. A special thanks to all the staff that helped us have an amazing stay during Time For Marriage course Oct 24.

There was a lack of attention to detail which made the place feel unwelcoming. For example, the heating in the dining room wasn't switched on until the meal started - frosty! On a winter retreat we weren't allowed a real fire in the fireplace, just an inadequate electric heater. My bedroom door didn't lock properly, etc, etc.I would not stay there again.

We went to the Greenhouse for a special retreat entitled ‘Encountering God’s Heart’ led by a wonderful lady called Dr Angela Walker. The whole weekend was really special and my wife and I both came away feeling we had been changed through the teaching and ministry times.The Greenhouse centre is a wonderful place to retreat and relax. All the staff do their utmost to make you feel welcome and the meals are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere in the centre is relaxed and a place to feel the presence of God, a perfect way to escape the pressures of work and to relax and be refilled and energised.

The Greenhouse Christian Centre is a perfect venue to book for a retreat with friends, family or church groups.I attended a church retreat with my family and we had a lovely weekend.We were welcomed warmly and the first thing that caught my attention was the hand-written scripture verses that were personalized to each name in our room. I really loved it.The surroundings are quiet and beautiful- exactly what you want for a retreat or time away to rest.There was a lot of cosy communal space for us to gather for our sessions. The Christmas decorations were set up as well and made it feel like home away from homeThere is a parking space on-site as well.There is room for plenty of activities and I'm sure it would be even more enjoyable in the summer.The staff were very nice and warm; catering to our needs. You could tell that they genuinely cared. Thank you Davina, Mark and the entire team.The food was amaziiiinnnnng! Every single dish was delicious and well plated. The chef knows his/her onions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was catered with table service! Amazing honestly.The price point is also excellent. I recommend this venue.Well done Greenhouse Christian Centre.

Great place for a retreat. A Christian themed venue with most amazing, friendly and prayerful staff. Rooms are very clean and the food… did I mention three square meals? Are impeccable and gets the home made feel.There’s a little chapel, prayer cubicles, swimming pool, wooded area for contemplative walks, a conservatory and an expansive ‘hall’ more like a living room.Amazing that we eat same time as member of staff, creates a really homely atmosphere. Amazing space as a retreat venue.

A very spiritual experience. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. This was my first solo Christian retreat and I felt completely at ease. A friendly welcome from the team and connected with some lovely people during my stay. Mine was not a led rettreat and I enjoyed the freedom to participate in services as much or as little as I liked, which suited me, I would definitely return!

Bathroom was in need of refurbishment.Food was bland and uninteresting. Not a lot of choice for evening meal. Packed lunch wasn't inspiring. Room wasn't ready until 430 pm Disappointed with atmosphere. Overall not a place I would revisit.
