The owner was an extremely kind man who even let me check in early because I was stuck in the rain. He was super helpful and even went out of his way to get me shampoo and made me a cup of coffee in the morning and some eggs on toast, which he didn't have to do but he new I couldn't afford any breakfast and did it out of the kindness of his own heart. The bed was quite comfy and the shower was nice and hot, even the WiFi worked great. Would definitely recommend to stay here as it is quite cheap and comfy accommodation.

Well all I can say is the room over priced old and out dated , didn't even get the room I paid for 225 for two nights to have a small room . Fusty smelling place , bed old worst nights sleep ever , no breakfast was told on arrival , parking a nightmare tv in room was tiny , called bell for hotel manager and noone arrived . I will never book there again...wow what a rude reply my tiny 3 bed council house... maybe instead of goggling where I live and the true facts my ex council house ,is very sad and low comment .. iv had plenty of experience on air bnb's in the area and hotels where we have stayed and enjoyed our holidays .. so I keep to my review , Well ,if this is the kind of comment the owner of a bed and breakfast replys with , I'm surprised he actually has any loyal guess. As for judging me for being working class. This man is rude obnoxious, and has zero customer skills .I wouldn't stay here again with 100% discount

The hotel is outdated but I quite liked how much character it had. Was let down by the owners behaviour unfortunately. I was told I could leave my luggage at the hotel on my last day while I went into town which was kind of him. I told the owner I would be back at 4 but when I arrived at the hotel he wasn't answering the door.A family arrived to also pick up their luggage and we were banging on the windows/doors for a couple of hours before we became concerned and called the police. The police broke into the hotel and it turned out he was asleep. He didn't apologise to any of us and didn't seem bothered at all. Because of this I missed my train and had to pay around £100 for another. I asked if he would pay for my train as it was his fault and he said no and went back into the hotel.

Wasn't going to leave a review on this establishment, however after a week plus of stuffing drom bedbug bites I thought sod it 100% honesty o the review.Owner- seemed a really nice old guy who on checking was very friendly and helpful who was willing to help me find a parking place.Location- very good as it's only a 15 20 minute walk from town centreBreakfast- we chose this as it advertised Breakfast,.but when asked about it owner said that they didn't do Breakfast but he did advise on where we were able to go.Room- it was OK decor is a but outdated seemed clean to start of with, was warm. Here is why I wouldn't stay at this place again1. Cups where not cleaned properly with very cheap teabags that tasted disgusting ( yes I did clean the cup myself)2. Black mold around the base of the windows.3. BEDBUGS I've been biten to F### by them to the point now where the itching from them is preventing me from sleeping which is effecting my work, I suffer very bad from insect bites.I stayed here 18th Nov with wife.and daughter in room 20 or 21 can't remember which. Luckily I was the only one to be bitten.AVOID THIS PLACEOwner or staff may comment on this review this review is 100% true

Please read carefully:There was only one person there. And he was not there most of the time!No other good thing existed. There is no restaurant, no bar, no room service, no parking, no cleaning, no fridge, ....Everything was very old and poorly maintained. The room carpet was dark grey, while when one of the beds was moved accidentally, same carpet underneath it was pink! No fridge. cheap beds. Too little toiletries. Very small shower. The shower head was moving, would not stand still, so I had to hold it with one hand. The whole bathroom was humid with no window and only a small old fan that was not working properly. Old and thin doors. Old and small TV. The hotel was a little far from the Hastings attractions but that was not much of problem.

He's an old man handling a hotel, he can't think and process things properly. He kicked me out and accused me of smoking in his premises but I was at work in the mean time. He also didn't refund my money! The cleaning was terrible and so was the rooms. I asked for sugar one night and he denied giving me some and his reply was:"they put them in there in the morning". Horrible treatment. I do not recommend this hotel not for a night!
