Cheap and cheerful, radiator in room not working so come up with a convector heater. No food facilities so have to walk out and the constant banging of a door is also off putting.single room with no wardrobe

Clean room and comfortable bed . Clean en suite with good sized bath and shower above. Basic place to stay the night. But lacking in facilities and does not do breakfast. But if you are on a budget, good value for the money. Polite receptionist.

The room was unclean and there was hair and hair bands on the floor from other people who previously stayed there.I paid extra for the deluxe room as the standard room was dusty and dark. The bed was comfortable however the duvets were not clean, after getting them changed 2 times there was blood on the sheets. I had to get them changed again.The staff were friendly and attentive, but it clear there is a lack of understanding on how to run a hotel with 5* hygiene.The location is ideal, a lot of food places in walking distance and halal food near by.

Polite staff, they were helpful. Big clean room with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I couldn’t close the window (seemed broken) but kept warm (there was a portable radiator too). Overall, pleasant experience

💎Hidden gem 💎I really like this hotel and so do my girls !Tucked off a side street from Eastbournes marine parade ..this cute hotel is definitely a hidden gem with lots of potential ..!My stay was a last minute plan after asking my daughter what she wanted to do in the last days before starting the new school year and a hotel stay with her best friend was her wish ..so we checked into pearls and pebbles and they have not disappointed us !Room : The room we booked was a family room with one double bed and one single bed.The room itself was extremely well presented, Bright and cleanBeds were clean and each bed had a mattress topper.There was a little tea/ coffee stationWall mounted TV with Freeview channels and access to netflix using your own log in.Free WiFiPlug sockets next to bedAnd also have usb charging ports .

I can’t rate the service as I didn’t stick around to find out, I walked into the hotel to find a man walking round with a fabreez air freshener spraying away.Checking in was ok but very sceptical after walking into the reception area, up through the windy corridors and to my allocated room, that all changed as I opened the door, vibrant,Modern, clean, spacious were feelings and thoughts that rushed to my mind.Only when I took a step inside to find the bath was filthy as was the toilet and shower curtain.I walked around the bedroom checking various nooks and crannies to find dust and dirt, without any searching I found a cockroach wondering around asking for directions.Cobwebs floating between furniture, a mattress of dust across every surface, the straw that broke the camels back was when I pulled back the mattress cover to find dirt in every crease, a few weeks ago I saw a post on social media where they take an iron and a towel to the mattress to find any unwanted pests but it was clear that I no longer wanted to stay at this hotel so I didn’t bother.

⚠️I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the worst hotel experience of my life. I strongly advise against staying here.The issues are numerous, but I’ll start with the most glaring: the hotel staff urgently need to learn the basics of hospitality.- Water Leak at 3:00 AM: We were awakened by water leaking from the ceiling. We tried calling the emergency number since there was no staff at the front desk, but the response was dismissive—“someone will come soon”—and no one ever showed up, despite the fact that we had a small child with us. The dripping water made it impossible to sleep. When we explained the situation to the front desk in the morning, there was no apology whatsoever.- Unhygienic Bedding: All of the pillows had a foul odor, suggesting that the pillowcases had not been washed. The bed sheets on the single beds were also dirty and stained, likely due to bed bugs.- Safety Hazards: There were exposed electrical wires in our room, a dangerous situation for any hotel, but especially one meant for families. If my husband hadn’t noticed, our child could have easily touched them, with potentially disastrous consequences. When we reported this to the front desk, the staff member simply responded, “We have no record of that in the system.” (!)- Broken Window: One of the windows was broken and covered with a snapped baseboard, which clearly had been in this state for years.- Filthy Floors: The floor under the beds was littered with rubbish, dirt, and insects. It was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in years.-Blood-stained net curtains.In summary, this establishment fails on every front: safety, cleanliness, facilities, and staff hospitality. I have never encountered a worse experience.

I stay in budget Eastbourne hotels for work fairly regularly, and Pearl and Pebbles is the best I’ve found.The location is perfect - the row of restaurants near the theatres and Towner Gallery are great and The Bohemian (less than a minute walk away) is a lovely pub. The walk into the town centre is also very quick and easy.Reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. For the price, the room was great - clean, modern spacious bathroom and the bed was comfy.The only negatives would be quite simple things to fix - there was nowhere to put objects down in either the main room or the bathroom - a small table or shelf would’ve made a big difference. A hairdryer would also have been good.Finally, I couldn’t find a remote for the tv. I eventually moved the bed and found the original remote underneath. Although it’s obviously not a big deal, it probably should’ve been spotted in preparing the room. All in all, a really nice stay though. Thank you!

We had reservation for two nights from 29.06-01.07. WHERE DO WE BEGIN? :) When we arrived at the hotel,it looked like receptionist is very confused about what she needs to do, she had our room key broken and only one! We didnt recive the second key, just in case first one is lost AND the first one was so broken, so she had to put it together with scotch. Water in the shower was with no pressure and we had to wait 15 minutes to get warm water. We had 1 double bed and 3 single beds in ALL of them we found hair on the pillows and towels, towels even had blue stains, we asked to change the towels, and they also were with hair on them. If you think it cant get any worse than this, then this was ony the beginning. On the next night, we arrived very late, because, we were attending a wedding. As receptionist told us- after 10pm the front door is close and you can get in only with the room card. We arrived at midnight and suprisingly the front door was open! :) Okay, we went up to our room and our card has stop working, it just showed red light and we couldnt get in. We went back to the lobby to find "sos" number for the hotel to get help. There was TWO numbers, we called multiple times and nobody answered, we even called booking and they also wasnt very responsive. At this point it was already 3am in the morning, we have nowhere to go, we cant reach anybody! Our bags are in the room and we are sitting in the lobby! So fast forward, we spent the night in the room, which was under construction right besides lobby, we found old furniture and we wre sleeping on the floor whole night! AND thanks God the front door was open all night, because if not, we would be on the street !!! We of course were going for a refund , which hotel responded that they will refund us onlu 30 pounds. 30! We paid for second night 136.89 pounds. To end on a postive note, dont pay for this hotel, you can stay there for free after 10pm! :)

The first impression at reception is poor. The reception desk area needs redecoration. The door mat outside is worn out. The reception desk was unmanned both times we went in during the day but there was no nice means of calling a member of staff. I had to shout. Then although the hotel wasn't busy and we arrived at 13.00, we were told check in was at 15.00 and it would be £10 an hour to check in early. Not good customer service though we were treated pleasantly. Signage to find our room was temporary, tatty and unclear. The room itself was very pleasant but lacked an arm chair and a hair dryer. We liked that the window opened properly and that there was a fan. The common areas need redecoration urgently. Not a bad hotel but it needs to try harder.

BED BUGS. Room smelt like something had died, found ROTTEN MEAT behind bedside table. No parking permits left, ended up getting a ticket. Requested a cot, didn't get one. Requested late check in, no one there. Had to shout and bang doors for 10 minutes til someone came, still charged me £20. Mouldy bathroom, mouldy food stuck to bin, mess from previous visitors. Actually just gross and disappointing.

Would not recommend to stay here. Staff were rude, arguing check in time on the booking yet it was booked through their website. Overall cleanliness was awful, the duvet in the cover was all brown and stained. The door in one of the rooms didn’t double lock, the button on the shower fell off while in it. The kettle smelt terrible and there were dirty stains on the bathroom floor. The toilet and sink were absolutely disgusting/dirty. If you want to stay somewhere nice i definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Before we got there we were thinking of cancelling our booking and thank goodness we didn’t.Our room was lovely and clean, we booked a triple bedroom with our 3 year old son.The service we received was Amazing, reception staff really did provide an amazing service and could not do enough.With a toddler comes extra luggage and a pram, the support we got from the staff throughout the stay was more than commendable.

Disappointing stay we paid £142.73 for 1 one night the photos on the websites looked nothing like the room there was mold on the ceiling, there was a horrendous smell, the bathroom was dated and had mould, paint peeling off the walls, the flooring in the bathroom was coming off, windows seals and carpets were filthy. The remote wasn’t working. Myself, my partner and two toddler are feeling ill after our stay. Very bad experience avoid at all costs.

Stayed with my friends while visiting the Seven Sisters and had a fantastic experience. The staff was lovely and very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The washrooms were clean, and the housekeeping team provided excellent room service. They even arranged wine glasses for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our family of five recently stayed in the family room at this hotel, and it was truly a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room itself was spacious and immaculately clean, with a huge washroom that was a pleasant surprise. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep for all of us. One thing we particularly appreciated was their bag storage policy, which made exploring the city hassle-free after checkout. Overall, it was the best stay we've had in a long time, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!
