The hotel is like a building site. Painters and decorators working amongst guests. Carpets up, health and safety signs at the entrance, wet paint signs, electricians opening up electrical cabinets and throwing fuse relays on the floor, working in the most untidy way, drilling , hammering etc etc

Hotel is undergoing renovation. But room was clean and staff very helpful. Wouldn't bother with the breakfast bag though. You have Greggs and Starbucks just 100 yards outside.

We have been here before years ago and because my partner is disabled we were given a room on ground floor which was suitable for him. It was well maintained and we would stay again sometime in the future.
