An absolute gem of a Guest House,Stayed around August Bank Holiday Weekend in the Ground Floor Room, and it was a lovely and cosy room for me and my parents and great little place to relax after our travels around WhitbyThis Guest House is in a great area with Cafes and Botham's on one side and the Coast at the other.And Olivia, the wonderful host she was, welcomed us and gave her local knowledge to find some of the best places around.If we decide to come to Whitby again we would definitely come back if we were allowed!Best wishes to allThe Websters

Our room was superb, newly refurbed, super clean and well presented, excellent location, free parking by arrangement, friendly welcome from owners, our room had a kitchenette and a lovely touch, a small jug of fresh milk in our fridge on arrival!

We had a great stay at Magnolia Guest House. Olivia and Chris were great hosts and extremely helpful, giving us lots of ideas on places to eat and what we could do in the area. The rooms were comfortable and the location of the hotel was ideal. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others going to Whitby.

Olivia the owner was lovely and when she acknowledged my booking by email she very helpfully suggested a list of places to eat, which she had visited with her husband. We visited 3 of them and really enjoyed them. We stayed in a refurbished studio which was lovely and the king sized bed was really comfortable. We would certainly recommend them and hope next time to go for a week instead of just a weekend!

Was going to stay just 2 nights but booked another night accommodation was very clean the room was lovely just 15 minute walk to the centre would recommend it to anyone who wanted to go there car parking is a bit hard to find but get a free car pass so was OK

We came to Whitby for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! Amazing location, close walking distance to everything but on a nice quiet street. Olivia and Chris were so lovely, very attentive and made our stay even nicer. We stayed in the attic room and it was beautifully decorated and spacious. Will stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts went that extra mile which added such a nice touch to our stay. Location is fantastic for all parts of whitby. The room was clean and warm and very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

The location was fantastic. Everything was a few minutes away. The flat was lovely. Both Olivia and Chris were helpful and welcoming. Their recommendations of places to eat were great. We loved our stay there. If we visit Whitby again we will be staying there.

We have returned from a long weekend in Whitby, we stayed (me, my husband and 2 girls) in the Magnolia Guest house which is on top of the west cliff, in a perfect location only a few minutes walk from everywhere but quiet enough to sleep. Whitby in general is a beautiful place to visit, my husbands family have been coming every year for a couple of generations!Olivia and Chris are both really lovely, there was a cancellation and they upgraded us to the beautiful attic apartment had been redecorated recently to a very high standard including all necessities for our stay and included lovely touches like a roll top bath in a huge bathroom, with a large shower and large smart TV in the lounge. It was a lovely living space and fitted 4 people with no problem, it was perfect.Olivia and Chris have clearly put a lot of effort into modernising the guest house, it looks stunning. They are very friendly and accommodating, they offered to help with our bags, made our youngest feel especially welcome and had a parking permit ready for us arriving. I’m sure we’ll be back again 😊
