Nice pint, great staff, but expensive the pub owners keep calling it an estate pub when it never has been nor will it be.

Loving the new deco. Certainly tidied up this local pub, which is not just any pub, it's a place where friends and family gather to socialise. Its kept people going following COVID, by having the bingo and quiz Nights.Only problem for me is I planned to go to watch the football and no Sky TV, which I would have thought is a must this day and age.

Not a place that I am familiar with as I recall I have been once before. It was a birthday celebration and we were invited so off we went. A Room was booked and it was heaving.I got the drinks, eventually, and we fortunately got some seats. It wasn't long before the heat in the room was getting to oppressive for me. There appeared to be no ventilation anywhere other than outside, which is where I went for a few minutes.Black in the room the numbers of party goers was dwindling so the atmosphere was more comfortable. There was music playing but it was too loud where we were sat.Not much else to say, our party days are long gone but the younger ones seemed to be enjoying it, like we used to. I never used the toilets so no comment there. As for the décor it was too dim and the flashing lights obscured it all.Overall it served it purpose for a party and when the number of party goers dwindled it became a more comfortable environment. Yes we enjoyed it but as I say it is not our scene anymore.

The Hastings Hotel is a nice traditional community pub. There's a front bar, separate games room at the back and outside seating. Plenty of beers and lager to choose from sadly no cask conditioned real ale. Very nice friendly welcoming staff.
