It's horrible wouldn't advise anyone to go here we had to leave in the middle of the night due to a guest kicking off swearing and smashing a glass door leaving his blood on it didn't feel safe there at all

Really enjoyed my stay here!Location wise, you're about 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the sea front.I only wanted a basic room but I got much more than that! There's ample wardrobes and storage space should you need them. The little touches like shower gel and the hot drinks selection plus kettle was a nice addition, as well the hair dryer, coffee table and chairs, and TV. The shower was great. The decor was clearly aged but clean.Now the bed was comfy..I mean COMFY. I felt well supported lying on it. I would have slept better if the room actually had curtains though. The check in and check out process could have been clearer too. Problems that can be easily fixed though.For these reasons I think I'd stay again.

Had to leave my ex wife back in 2014, almost ended up homeless, it was a case of either take this hotel or take a sleeping bag and a tent, in winter the room was freezing, I paid every week and stayed from 1st Dec 2014 to April 2015 never once had a breakfast there, infact they never cooked any, the place was run by Susan and her ex husband Ian was a little strange, only good thing about this place was the location, took me 5 minutes to walk to the beach but the hostel I mean hotel is full of drug addicts, alcoholics and down and outs

We stayed for one night for a gig.|The room was clean and in good shape.|The man overseeing things was attentive and helpfull. Great location for jeading into town and not to far from the seafront. Just a pleasant stay with not complaint.👌👌👌|

What a cracking find. Booked for one night as we were going to open air theatre. Great location,exceptionally clean, fabulous hosts. Comfy beds, great price. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Don’t know what people expect from a budget b and b but we as a group of friends found . Rooms basic and dated but very clean and comfortable all communal areas clean.beds comfortable and bedding spot less.Landlady very helpful area perfect for town centre will definitely stay again what more do you want at that orice

We stayed here thankfully for only one night! I booked this based on it said they had parking available, as id searched loads of hotels in the area with this criteria. When arrived there was no parking available and found it was only street parking, ran by the council with a pay metre that only allowed for 3 hour stays. I purchased a parking ticket from the hotel for the next day, but I had to put one on the evening too. The man we met on arrival was very creepy and made my mam, myself and daughter uncomfortable. I went to move my car when there was a space available and the man showed my mam the room which didn't have a private bathroom and was a sharing communal one. Which did not state this on booking as said private ensuite in bedroom as pictures shown too. Not ideal with a young child. There was no washing facilities eg showers that we were made aware of and made us feel extremely dirty. No good for longer than one night stay. It mentioned there was a free breakfast included nothing was mentioned about this nor was there any food been cooked on the morning but we just wanted to leave as soon as possible. The man proceeded when my mam took my daughter to the toilet pretended like he was coming over all faint in the other shared bathroom with the door open. Also outside our door there was another man who seemed he lived there intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. We didn't get why when our door wasn't near anyone else. We stayed in that room all night and didn't leave. There was a lot of fighting it seemed on the street. Upon leaving the man who showed us around kept hiding behind the corner and watching us and this was a regular theme with the unsavoury man that was sitting outside when we arrived and when due to leave just watching us. The man who im assuming the owner wanted to parking ticket back even though I'd paid and so I went back to my car and upon giving it back he was hiding behind the corner again. Such Norman bates vibes. I've never stayed in a worse hotel and I think the bathroom situation should be made clearer, aswell as parking. Also there wasn't any WiFi as it didn't work. Everything they claimed they didn't deliver. I'd never return! Only plus was the bed was comfortable 😌
