Fantastic prices for a central location. Rooms very basic but if you only need a bed to sleep then this is perfect. However note that during summer some of the rooms are extremely hot and there is no air conditioning. Which for me was unbearable. Nao on the front desk was fantastic and so friendly and helpful. She helped me out several times with issues and bent over backwards to help. Thank you again Nao. I would give 5 stars but feel i must deduct one because of the temperature in the room. Despite this, I would definitely consider staying there again for my next trip to the city.

Excellent stay, very central to the most popular areas of London and with a Tesco across the street. The bus stops are nearby as well as the Covent Garden underground station.I was in a room with a private bathroom, with excellent wifi and no noise from the street, and from the first moment the person in charge was very attentive to what I needed, including tips that I needed along with a brief tour of the place to understand where and what it has. available in the kitchen (which always remained very clean and tidy). They are always willing to collaborate. All the facilities were clean and tidy... everything is just like the photos they share. Delighted to return

The place is extremely well located and the price is doable when compared to alternatives (still pretty high imho). Thank you for making my stay easy to organize by keeping my luggage since before check-in time 🤓.

I stayed in a single room with an ensuite bathroom on Airbnb a couple weeks ago and just missed my review window on there, but wanted to make sure I gave this place the feedback it deserves! I met a couple people working, a younger woman also from Texas! and a gentleman working overnights and both were very kind and helpful. You get a keycard that gets you in the building and in the hallways and a separate key for the room itself. It felt very secure and safe! The room was tiny but perfect for what I needed. No USB ports in the room so bring those plug adapters! The room and bathroom were very clean and I'd gladly stay there again. It was August with no AC and even as a Texan, it wasn't bad at all. There's a fan in the room that was enough. The street is noisy and they warn you about that, but I closed the window at night and it was quiet. If you need to leave the window open for air, then bring ear plugs just in case! The entire place was pretty quiet considering it was a weekend. I really expected a lot more noise even within the building but it was quiet! Bed wasn't the most comfortable but for student housing for a couple nights that's extremely affordable? It's a steal! Sooo many amazing pubs, theatres, and restaurants within walking distance and a 15-20 min walk to Big Ben and all the sights! I took an amazing morning walk down to Big Ben along the river and it was beautiful. I felt safe leaving Duchy House and the entire way. Such a great place even for solo travelers and I can't wait to go back. Thanks so much, Duchy House!
