The room itself was pretty small, but not too small for two. The hotel is located a block away from kings cross st pancras, and in a surprisingly quiet street. The staff was nice, but the cleaning staff was VERY loud. We could hear them start their shift at 7 in the morning and almost shout at each other, when also cleaning so loudly we couldn’t sleep. The beds were fine, but the pillows a bit hard. Overall not a bad experience for the money we paid

Even though its not right in the center of London, it is still one of the best hotels and most vfm in my opinion. The room was super clean including the private bathroom and it also came with complementary snacks and drinks which was a nice gesture. Also, the room was cleaned every day! Last but not least, the staff was so kind, thoughtful and always there to help. I seriously cant thank them enough. I am definitely coming back when I, hopefully, visit London again in the future. 11/10

Overall, it's not worth the price. Very tiny room and bathroom. No slippers, so nosy that we can't sleep. Good location, free water, towle change were nice. The staff is mostly nice but only one woman was not trying to help us and rough service.

We asked for an exterior room, they gave us an interior room. We asked for a double bed, they gave us two single beds. Room on the fourth floor without elevator. Well located. Friendly staff although we spent half an hour waiting to check-in.The room and bathroom are tiny. Carpet floors of the polka year. An alarm sounds every time someone opens a door.Good cleaning of the hotel. In short: for a couple of nights it's not bad.

Room and bathroom small but very clean. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking an interior courtyard: We slept with the window open: It was very quiet: No noise from car traffic, just sometimes a helicopter or a siren in the distance. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from King Cross station and there are several small restaurants not far away for breakfast.I can only recommend this hotel where the staff were very friendly, where the bath towels were changed every day.The small kettle to prepare tea or coffee, milk and little cookies were also very nice...Honestly, we were really charmed by this hotel.

Have stayed at Angus a few times over the years. It is a simple, budget-friendly place if you need to be near St. Pancras or King's Cross stations and don't mind a place with fairly tight space. Recently stayed here for a few nights, all went as well, similar to my past experiences at Angus Hotel.Room reservation was made through booking.com, received confirmation through email immediately. Was nicely received upon arrival, there is luggage storage space available and a nice reception staff. Check-in was pretty quick.Room is small and basic but gets the important things right. Bed takes up a large portion of the room space. Mattress is comfortable so easy to sleep well. There is good room lighting, flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. Wifi works very well. Fan, hair dryer, safe, kettle all fitted nicely. Small desk and chair as well as space to hang a few clothing items. Good space under the bed to store larger luggage and bags.Bathroom is tiny, just enough space for toilet, sink and shower, little room for movement. Something to think about for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, beyond the tight space, everything worked just fine.

Great location, good bed, clean room, view of park opposite and very affordable budget accomodation. We travel light so this was perfect. Highly recommend the cafes at Marchmont Street and Tavistock, looks like the old High Street. Plus lots of pubs in the area. Also enjoyed the Parcel Yard pub in the station. And Drummond Street for Indian food isn’t far away.Had a laugh at some of the whinging reviews, you lot might be better off staying home. This is London, of course it's got noise and people. But I found this to be a very quiet location when compared to other city hotels. Totally refreshing.

We loved it, a super quiet, London-style hotel. There is no elevator but also, it only has 4 floors. Small rooms and bathroom, however, it wins due to the friendly staff and its location. They also put water, tea, biscuits and even milk in the room and there was no need to pay any additional fees!I loved it, I highly recommend it.
