This was a very convenient place for my husband and I to stay in May. We actually ended up staying there twice before and after other places we had traveled to. We appreciated that we could drop off our bags early at a sister hotel nearby. The rooms were clean even though quite small, and it was very close/walkable to Paddington station and another underground station as well as being right next to Hyde Park.

The Crescent Hydepark London, situated in the heart of London, one street away from Hyde Park. Reception was very friendly and helpful. 4 th floor without elevator is a challenge because between floors it feel like the 7 th floor.

We stayed here just for a night. We wanted to be close to Paddington for an early AM departure. Room had stained chairs and a rusted trash can. The bathroom was so tiny that the shower door was removed because opening the door would not have been possible in the space. We were given a first floor room, although other rooms were available. We had to draw the shades or be viewed by everyone walking by on street level.

Great location. About 5-6 mins walk from the Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations, which makes it very convenient to travel around London. Hyde Park is also 5 mins away on foot. There are also many restaurants and cafe around so you have many options to choose from.My room was big enough for one person, but this is the typical room size in London. It was very quiet during the night so you definitely get a good nights sleep. the staff were always helpful and friendly.

April 24My 3rd stay at this hotel..... Read the description and reviews folks;1. There are no lifts (elevators). This means you have to carry your cases to your room. As this is a charming high ceiling building, this means that the high ceilings make a lot of steps between each floor.2. There is no onsite eating facilities. I recommend the Cafe at the Italian Gardens for breakfast and The Victoria pub at Strathearn Place, Tyburnia. Come on folks.... Be adventurous!3. Reception is not staffed 24/7. If you need assistance,byou can either go to ground floor reception and dial 0 on the phone to connect you to the sister hotel over the road, or toddle over the road to the sister hotel to speak to someone in person.This place is great; a few steps from Hyde Park and the Central Line, you have London at your fingertips. Didn't mention in my previous review that each room has its own AC and heating controls.Was in ground floor room 702 this time, view to the front, but set back from the pavement which was nice.---------------------------------+2023:Very comfy room and exceeded my expectations in view of what I had paid.Spacious room with large bed, choir of pillows, mini fridge + complementary tea, coffee and water. Large TV.Walls a bit scuffed, light fittings could have done with a dust and a bizarrely ripped net curtain!All in all very happy with this room and would stay again.

The location of the hotel is just perfect! Less than 5 mins walk to one of the entrances of Hyde Park and 10 mins walk to Paddington Station where you can take 4 of the main metro lines. The rooms are very nice, super clean and cozy! The bed was really comfortable and it was quiet at night. The staff was so kind and nice and made our bed every day! Special thanks to the girl at reception that we saw most of the days. Unfortunately i didnt ask for her name but i hope she reads this - thank you for being so kind and welcoming and thank you for taking care of my b-day bouquet that arrived at the hotel and that my boyfriend ordered! 😊 you made us feel very welcomed every day! I reccommend the hotel 10/10!

Very disappointed with my stay at the Crescent. While it was a good location and the rooms were nicely furnished, having to haul my bags up four floors without assistance (which I admit was my mistake, I should have looked at more of the reviews) was not a pleasant experience. Without 24 hour staffing and with zero on site amenities (aside from a coffee maker and TV), I am not sure why this is labeled as a three star property, it is most certainly a two star, in my opinion. Additionally, there was significant damage to the room, and by the time I noticed it (10pm), there was no staff on site to address it with (nobody at 8am when I left either). I'd recommend staying somewhere nicer, even if it is a bit more of a walk. Very small rooms, definitely not worth the expensive nightly rate they charge.

Was here in early June staying 1 night for transit. Booked elsewhere near Paddington station earlier but found that there’s no air cond! So made a switch and book here.Thumbs up to reception Sana for her service esp her help on handling my parcels before my arrival (that had caused so much troubles…). Luggage storage at sister hotel is bravo! 5 mins walk only to Paddington station and transit to Heathrow airport. Would stay here again for our next visit!

We stayed at the last floor in November, 2022. Room was small but functional, bed was comfy. However there is no elevator, you might struggle to carry up heavy cases. Location is 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The internet connection was flawless, i even had a meeting on my computer for an hour.

5 mins walk to paddington station, 5 mins walk to Hyde park, and it is super clean and comfortable. I didn't expect the hotel's surroundings and facilities to be so new and perfect. It doesn't even look like a three-star hotel! The only thing is that there is no elevator, but the receptionist there helped us move the heavy luggage to the top floor! Will visit again next time in London.

The only complaint I have about this hotel at all is that upon arriving I found out they have no elevator, so if you're placed on a higher floor you have to carry all your bags up and down the stairs, and every morning and evening you have to go down and up those stairs to begin exploring the city. I asked to be moved to the ground floor and my request was accommodated and everything after that was great.I can't speak highly enough about the service, Sana was the person I primarily worked with and she was knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way, providing extra items in the rooms as needed and giving directions for a tourist like me. She even looked up train schedules for me and recommended the best route to take. There is normal service and there's above and beyond, the hotel should be happy to have her.
