I didn't even get to see this place and judging other reviews am glad I didn't.||They weeks to process my payment by which time I'd acquired a new bank card, so my payment (booked on the old card) was declined. …

This place was horrible. Very dirty, the walls were heavily stained and I doubt the bathroom was cleaned, there were debris left from previous guests in the shower and under the sink. Truly wonder when was the last time anyone's cleaned in there. the communal bathroom was dirty and smelly as well. The staff weren't friendly most times, and you can't enter the hotel without them buzzing you in (you only get a key to your own room and not to the front door of the hotel). Seeing as they usually not at the desk, we would have to wait outside for minutes at a time for them to open the door. It wasn't even that cheap to justify any of this. In short - Don't stay here. There are many other infinitely better hotels on this street and in this area for similar prices.

Please keep clear of this hideous hotel. I was booked in last Friday night and after I saw the room I had to leave. It was dirty, the size of a box and roasting hot. I asked for the manager and was told there wasn’t one !! …

Lady at reception disgusting and mean. Old fashioned rooms. Main door keys not available. Need to ring every time for someone to open the door. I was forced to pay 20 pounds to allow another person to stay for a few hours after a rude discussion with the owner I guess.

We walked to the hotel from Hyde Park, phoned on route to say what time we were coming. Arrived at 11pm, we were greeted by a friendly chap, keys ready and directed to our room. It went down hill from there. …

Service and Quality should always be related to the price you pay, and in this case and on a stag night in London, this hotel was reasonable for the price. There's no doubt the place could do with quite a bit of renovation, but for me, if not doing this keeps the price down, I wouldn't object to returning. I paid under £100 for 2 people for 1 Saturday night next to the centre of London, I don't think that's bad at all. If you just need somewhere to sleep and you're not trying to impress, this place is fine. I don't own a Hotel myself, but there are several issues that I hope the owner is aware of and remedies in due course and when funds or motivation permit.

What type of hotel takes keys off guests when leaving the hotel for a few hours??? The door is always locked and you must buzz in and out to come and go from the so called hotel. …
