Oh goodness! Where do I start! Firstly I echo all the others that have written a poor review which is 100% justified. Our room was across the courtyard so it was an extremely cold room. I honestly had to wear my coat to bed with socks and leggings on. The radiator didn't work. The decor, well, I can only describe it as antiquated and dated along with the furniture, and oddly it looked like someone had touched it up with tippex!!! The only chair in the room was broken, you sat on it and it would lower and wouldn't stay in position! Shower urgh, i refused to even shower, I felt I'd come out more dirty before I went in. Tiles needed replacing, black staining. Only one small towel given and 1 shower gel and 1 shampoo? How do two people share this quantity!! The two cups, one had a crack in it and the other was dirty! Side cupboard by bed hadn't been wiped down so brown type stains. Windows very old and considering how cold the room was you'd think they'd have double glazed them. Water dripping down them the next morning with condensation. Have attached photographs. This room plus breakfast should have been £40 not £90!! The only redeeming feature was the friendly chap serving and I enjoyed the full English breakfast in a warm part of the hotel. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Probably the worst room I've ever stayed in. I feel the advertising for this place is false and misleading.

We just got back home after a 4 night stay at the hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We loved the room, with the huge comfy bed. Surprisingly quiet during the night, despite being near a double roundabout, and with the window open. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again. And it’s so well situated to walk into the town further.
