Asked for quiet room. First room overlooked main road, no double glazing. Then family in two rooms adjacent decided to have family debate at 11pm....Room tired, hotel tired, we're now tired having moved to second room which had a double bed with one side up against a wall, which meant my wife has to climb across me to go to the bathroom in the night, and this is a "club room" supposedly. Nice staff just the hotel needs a lot of investment. Won't be back.

An amazing hotel with the best of everything! In a leafy area to the South of reading we awake fresh and ready to go. Breakfast is reasonable, freshly cooked and served by charming David. The rooms are all you could wish for with a lovely kitchenette in a cupboard. The range of freshly cooked snacks and meals puts most big hotels to shame. All the staff are so friendly and we will certainly be back.

It’s a nice hotel situated in a great location close to public transportation and shops. The staff are nice, and the rooms are okay. I had no bad experiences during my stay.

Positive experience at this hotel. Modern rooms and friendly staff at reception. However, we did miss bedside tables. The breakfast was of lower quality. For example, the crossoints were not fresh and the boiled eggs were blue in color. There was also almost no choice of tea. But fine for a night in transit.

Lovely staff but rooms are dated. Towels had stains. Impossible to get the TV to work but that might just be us. Our rooms under the roof were boiling hot and windows barely open. Rooms are provided with a ventilator but it is very noisy to sleep with it on at night. Baby cot provided would be a death hazard for a newborn baby as it is broken and a whole side sinks in. Fortunately my baby is older... Hope they just get a new one as it is dangerous. I disliked the whole experience, and I'm usually not too fussy.
